The rooms are very clean and comfortable. A very peaceful area and the Craig was very helpful with excellent English. The taxi to the main shopping area is easy. The pool was smaller than it looked in the photo but nice. Lovely garden area, easy for kids to explore and be safe. There was an Asian or western breakfast choice which varied between a buffet or served breakfast. There was also a variety of options available throughout the day from the menu from sandwiches to main meals. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect place to adventure around the Karst Peaks and Yangshuo. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but we could have just enjoyed our room the whole time if we wanted - so relaxing and will situated, incredible view, and wonderful staff. The dumbwaiter is an especially charming touch!

I liked the tranquility of the resort and even when crowded, you can still find peaceful spots on the property. I liked how most of the staff went our their way to make our stay comfortable and try to fulfill all our wishes. My son enjoyed the ponds and breakfast with peacocks! It was truly a blissful sight. I'd like to thank Ian for bringing our in room dining--super charming guy! I'd like to thank the chef (maybe Martin is his name) he always was helpful and most of all Rhianna for the nice hospitality! !

Wonderful “homestyle” inn. Loved the big, spacious room and wood furniture. Loved the little restaurant down the street, where we had delicious -cooked-to-order soup at dinner and traditional Chinese breakfast with fried dough sticks dipped in rice milk.

Nirvana Organic Farm exceeded our expectations! It’s located slightly outside of the Xingping town so really quiet with a great rooftop for star gazing! The rooms are also very clean and we loved the organic garden with many vegetables that we had there for dinner! The hostesses were also so friendly and we went sunrise trekking with them! We will be back for sure!

Amazing scenery. Definitely get out on a bike or electric scooter and go along the footpath next to the river.
The evening light show is amazing and definitely worth going to, but it is expensive and, be warned, nearly all the spectators (a few thousand of them) will be on their phones and talking very loudly throughout the whole performance.
West Street at night is worth seeing once. It is slightly tacky, but in a pretty way.
Silver cave is very pretty and you get a free headset in English (presumably other languages too). I can't believe that Reed Flute caves in Guilin are better, yet they are a lot more expensive.

Nice "little city" and a good base to see Xingping, the Silver Cave, Ruyi Peak and of course the cormorants (in Xingping). I'd love to have done Xianggong Hill. Most tourists do one of the two shows but I watched bits of the video and thought, not for me due to our limited time. I think 2 dinners in West Street might have added a bonus. Oh, try to get your Didi working.

I think Yangshou shines the best when you are trying off the beaten path things: climbing, caveing, trying local food (not just Kung Pao chicken, come on) and renting a scooter.
I'm genuinely impressed by the environment, people and abundance of culture of Yangshuo.
I tried a lot of local delicacies including oil tea 油茶,snail noodles 螺蛳粉 and beer fish. Definitely something you won't be able to try anywhere else. I liked first two, not the last one :)
I loved exploring surroundings via scooter, it is such a nice thing. And you have a chance to enjoy superb infrastructure of China. You won't believe me if I tell you that Yangshuo has highways with both motor- and bike- lanes. Simply amazing.
I recommend trying outdoor climbing and even caveing. There are many great spots (ask your hotel host, they should be able to tell you).
Come and enjoy.

For me, I went to Yangshuo for a relaxing getaway and that's just what I got. I don't know when the last time I have been this relaxed. I have friends who go there for rock-climbing and go a few times per year. The city is not very big so you don't need a lot of time going from place to place. I would advise to stay somewhere outside the city, like, within 5-6 kilometers and just rent a scooter. Actually, riding the scooter helped me get familiar with the city a lot better. And it's a form of meditation in and of itself, offering a bit of concentration as I got some sun on my face and cool wind in my hair.

Yangshuo is one of the prettiest parts of China in our opinion. The beauty of the Karst mountains is stunning and never bored us. The diversity of the mountains is a real treat for the eye. There are plenty of activities around like caving, climbing Moon hill, bamboo rafting the yulong river, exploring the environment on a rental scooter (¥30,- a day) or even helicopter and hot air balloon rides! Don't miss out on the local beer fish, a dish famous for a reason! Dine at Yangshuo Mountain retreat (the Brew) for the best tranquil dinner ever! Have lunch at 'Moon Hill restaurant' before or after climbing the mountain. The restaurant is located right next to the entry of the hill. Amazing view while eating local food. Take a few hours to visit the cable car, glass bridge and view platform of Ruyi park, lovely as well.

Yangshuo is located in the midst of a beautiful and tropical karst Mountain landscape and there are plenty of attractions ranging from caves to cable cars and tea plantations around, but the town itself is highly commercialised and most businesses cater to domestic package tourists.
The property was on the scenic Li River. A 45 minute taxi ride from the Yangshuo railway station. The very clean and modern room allowed for a beautiful view. There were many choices for Chinese and Western food in the restaurant. A lovely 30 min walk down the river (half of which was covered and lighted) took you straight to the famous West Street. An electric bike could be rented from the resort and an easy 30 minute ride could get you to Moon Rock and the famous Banyan tree plus more! The staff were so friendly, helpful and professional!
The River Lodge hotel is a good choice when visiting Yangshuo for some relaxing days. The location is a bit separated from the crowded areas which makes the place very quiet. One day we had our lunch at the hotel restaurant and the beer fish which is an speciality from Yangshuo was delicious. The bed is comfortable and the staff is very kind, they helped us showing us in the map the best places to visit. We rented the ebike at the hotel which is very convenient. We would repeat.
An absolute wonder of a hotel! The village is one hour drive from the Yangshuo railway station, and the hotel offered us a transfer. The view from the balcony was amazing, and the balcony itself was huge. Everything we needed in the room was in place, towels were changed every day, the breakfast was delicious (especially noodles), and the personnel was always helpful with all the questions we had. An easy 10 out of 10, would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Yangshuo.
The staff were very accommodating with allowing us to cancel double booking and free of charge.
They made sure we get to hotel and our room despite late arrival and were helpful with sharing information about Yangshuo.
The hotel is nicely traditionally furnished and the bed is very comfortable.
The hotel has a restaurant downstairs so it a very convenient if you are hungry and have not yet explored yangshuo.
Lilly is an excellent host! It is quite intimidating and daunting travelling in China currently as a foreigner but she could not be more helpful in absolutely everything, including helping me set up my Alipay! Great recommendations on where to visit/eat everyday and she also gave me my first intro into rock climbing. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here, I’ll definitely be back!
The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and you immediately feel as though you are at home. The location is beautiful and quiet and still close enough to Yangshuo town to visit. Free use of bicycles. The food at the hotel is really brilliant, and offers some very well cooked local dishes. The rice noodles are great for breakfast and the beer fish was lovely.
Located just a short way from the town centre, this was such a peaceful location. All the staff were so helpful and put our Chinese language skills to shame with their good English. With bikes and mopeds available from the hotel, plus the regular free shuttle bus into town, this is a great spot to explore Yangshuo. The swimming pool is also an added bonus!
We spent 4 nights in a family suite room, The rooms were so comfortable with the great view of mountains !
Also, breakfast was good enough !
Demi (the hotel staff) she was so helpful for eveything !
She organized tours and found tickets to cruise line also her english was pretty good.
I would suggest hotel to everyone!
We are group of 9 friends stayed for 3 nights, EVERYTHING was perfect!!! we were so happy being at the hotel and had arranged private bbq at the terrace, we had great time with best view in Yangshuo!!, and 5 stars service !! 👍👍👍👍👍 Sophia and the hotel members are so much helpful during our stay, Thank you so much!
Very good hotel outside of Yangshuo City. The service is always there to help you and arrange everything you need. The food in the hotel restaurant was also good. There are a few menus to choose for breakfast and a lot of dishes for dinner. Both times you can choose between western and local meals.
Yes I do, the hotel has a pool and balcony which you could see a nice scenery, so you can enjoy and relax at the hotel. It was also water server on each floor which was nice!
All staff there were really nice and most of them speak English, so it was very comfortable to communicate with them.
The property is so beautiful, next to the river. Views are stunning! Staff are extremely nice, speak very good English, they help you organize whatever you need. Food is excellent. Hands down one of the best and nicest places I’ve stayed in China. It exceeded my expectations by far!
The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, the staff was really helpful and friendly, the food was outstanding, btw best vegan burger I’ve ever had :) My room was on the third floor with the view on mountains and I enjoyed the sunrise. Definitely recommend this hotel👍
Charming hotel located in a small village at 10min taxi from Yangshuo city center. Quiet and beautiful place. Some stuff would need a bit refurbishment or maintenance but overall, the room is clean and nice.
Food at the hotel is excellent and staff is very nice.
The staff was very kind, even making tea for me when I didn't feel well. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The room was cute. Solid budget hotel choice. I loved the eco-features (e.g., filtered water in refillable glass bottles, not single-use plastic).
Beautiful small hotel near Yangshuo. Demi was very helpful, gave us tips what to visit and we also appreciated the bicycle we could borrow, letting us to discover the region freely by ourselves. Delicious breakfast and very comfy bed.
Amazing location next to the river and not far from the village. The room was perfect down to the details. The food at the restaurant was one of our best meals in China. Staff were genuinely polite and helpful.
Clean room, near west street, useful travel advice, kind and helpful staff, great stay and warm room in this winter time, amazing experience in Yangshuo.
