The grounds were pretty with lots of flowering plants growing and grassy areas to hang out in. There is a pool that is pretty as well.
I would stay here again for the price and the location I needed to be.

Amazing coffee tour and tasting experience. We spent our first day in Costa Rica here and it was a great introduction. They were very accommodating to our early check in. Nice pool area. Delicious breakfast and as a bonus you could wander on the grounds and see where the ingredients came from! Real farm to table!

Pool slices are not safe for kids. No towels, beds are very uncomfortable. It's a nice area but not AC. Super hot at daytime and cold at night again, no blankets. We didn't even have windows to open, only a very noisy fan. Did not advise me not to stay underneath the bar with my 4 year old. He was awake until 11 pm, that's when the music went down

Susan was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She offered to arrange transportation from the airport for us, provided great restaurant recommendations in the area, and provided laundry service for a small additional cost. The apartment is beautiful and modern with huge windows and lovely natural wood finishings. It is attached to her house but we still felt like we had enough privacy. Her dog came by to say hi to us a few times and was very friendly.

Olga and Fernando were so warm and welcoming. They were really helpful in recommending things to do in the area and made sure that we were comfortable. Olga even got up to see us off when we left for the airport at 3:45 AM! Fernando cooked us a delicious breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Truly a hidden treasure of far better value than cost. Staff incredibly friendly, accommodating, attentive... Great meals from their nearby restaurant delivered to glassed eating area if desired. Arranged inexpensive transport to hiking trails in Braulio Carrillo National Park; one set of trails only about 1mi away. I would definitely stay there again - wished we had arranged a longer stay there.
