My last two nights in Curacao were truly fantastic, thanks in large part to the wonderful hospitality I experienced here. Roger and his staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location and breakfast were great. A particularly nice touch was receiving vouchers for the beautiful pool at Saint Tropez, which was a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Curacao and looking for a great experience with a personal touch.

I recently celebrated my 61st birthday with a 6-night stay at the BijBlauw Hotel, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place for such a special occasion. From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of magical. The location is unbeatable—right on the ocean, with gorgeous views, a calming breeze, and easy walking access to all the charm of Pietermaai and downtown Willemstad. The room was beautiful, minimalist yet warm, and incredibly comfortable. But what made it truly special was the personal touch—a surprise balloon setup waiting in my room for my birthday! That gesture meant the world to me. Thank you so much to the team—you were amazing, and your attention to detail made my birthday unforgettable. Some mornings, I enjoyed the on-site restaurant, sipping ginger tea while watching the waves roll in. The service throughout my stay was thoughtful, friendly, and always genuine.     It is a beautiful town, gorgeous beaches. Prices are average for the Caribbean. Public transport is not reliable, therefore, renting a car is the best option to go to the beaches and to move around. Locals seem to be a little tired of dealing with tourist though.

    Very nice city, vibrant and beautiful.

    Very nice city, vibrant and beautiful. The scenery is amazing. People are nice and friendly. There are multiple restaurants and places to visit. The traffic is a bit too much and the parking machines only take coins (florín coins), which are very difficult to obtain.

    What I most liked were the beaches, best of the best! Food was also amazing, many good restaurants, the weather so nice and downtown a little bit crowded because of Carnaval. But definitely we will come back soon.

    Willemstad is a great Caribbean experience, with a lot of history. As a Dutch person I will always feel the connection, even though the colonial part is not always something to be proud of. Great food, try Plaza Bieu, especially the last two restaurants. It is also fun to try out some of the Dutch food, like kroketten en frikadellen.

    People are open to visitors, so they're willing to explain every single thing you ask them. Prices of food and souvenirs are fair. Pleincafe near Wilhelmina Park was a great place to eat. It's super easy to get around Willemstad I would recommend the Maritime Museum and the Mikveh Emmanu-El Synagogue

    This place is truly bizarre. On the paper it is perfect and with the facilities they it should be one of the hot spots in curacao. However you get a weird vibe staying there, lights in common areas are really dark and for a hostel you see no one and there is a weird vibe. How could it be with so many jakuzzis and beach areas available and even a bar? It feels like they have seen better days and management needs to redo a few minor things and they can be a having easy reviews up to 9-10 at booking.com. Local staff was very friendly.

    A nice house on a quiet location. I felt safe and welcome. Everything you would need for your holiday is available on the property. A big supermarket only a short ride away in case you want to cook for yourself. I'd say for Curaçao, with a car, it's a perfect location. Even the furthest sights and beaches of the island are only half an hour away. And you have Blue Bay and Kokomo Beach within a 10 min drive.

    I love the view from the rooftop restaurant. The ambiance was cozy. The service good. The rooms where clean. I had one of the most amazing happy birthday parties on the roof. I am proud that Curacao now have it's own rooftop restaurant like in many other great cities like NY and Dubai. Many thanks to the young owners and there crew for making my birthday celebration unforgetable.

    This house is as beautiful as on the pictures - it's luxurious, spacious and has everything you'd possible need to enjoy your stay on Curacao. Our host, Catalina, was very responsive and made sure our stay was memorable. Highly recommended if you want to explore the island and enjoy Blue Bay to its fullest.
