5 minute walk from gorgeous main square with lots of cafes, shops, breakfast places. Downstairs in the building there is a good looking Spanish tapas bar., was closed for Easter weekend. We'll try it next time!

The hotel is located in a building which houses a wellness centre where you can book a massage or sauna. It is best to book it on advance. You enter your room from a little patio, which might be nice in the summer. The location is perfect - very close to the historical centre, bars and restaurants, bus stops and a big parking lot. It was peaceful and quiet. The room looks better in reality than in the photos. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable.

The city itself is very cute, the old center is actually not huge, but there is a nice park around it, which was home to some concerts and events at the time of our visit (early June).
Not only is it a cute town in itself, it is also very well located to explore the region. Cesky Krumlov is 25-ish minutes drive away, the Lipno treetop walkway is about 1 hour. Pilsen is around 2 hours drive. There is a plethora of super cute towns and also a lot of beautiful nature and possibilities for biking and hiking in the entire area.

Lovely historic town, super Xmas markets - better than Prague. Loads of great bars and several superb microbreweries as well as the world famous Budvar brewery which is well worth a tour.
Great parks and loads of easy walking around the town make it a pleasure to visit.
Good transport links and nearby Cesky Krumlov is a must see.

For a Czech city it was surprisingly uninspiring, the old town is beautiful and it's easy to get around. There is no castle or other major attraction. There's a brewery which proved to be very interesting.

Besides having a beautiful city centre and plenty of good cafes and restaurants and shops, the city is convenient as a hub from which to visit nearby towns in South Bohemia such as Ceske Krumlov, and to link with hiking and bicycle trails.
The Regional Museum is also well worth spending a few hours in.
One thing that online Maps fail to advise, is that Ceske Budejovice has a comprehensive bus network, that is inexpensive.
Overall the people seem happy and friendly to tourists.

Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river.
Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river. Has some nice parks and large town square. Not as cute as some other Czech towns but is home to the original Budweiser. Do the tour to learn all about the beer and taste it. The Hluboka Castle is 30 minutes north of the city. If you have time rent a car or use the public transport (bus or train) to go see it. It’s a beautiful, Winchester palace inspired castle. Large ground territory and free to explore. You can pay to do tours inside the castle but walking outside the castle is already worth the visit.

It was a lovely apartment. We enjoyed our stay there immensely. If we ever return to České Budějovice we would stay here.
Plenty of dishes and cookware. We cooked several meals during our visit. Staff was very helpful with setting up parking after we arrived (I forgot to set it up before our visit). We did not partake in the breakfast buffet at the hotel next door. Just a short drive to the Český Krumlov and the Castle.
smack in the middle of town on the central square in several historic buildings
comfy, spacious room with aircon
parking within the hotel (not included in the room rate)
restaurant with well done local fare and (western) international options
Breakfast is a buffet affair that had all western options like eggs, bacon, sausage, cold cuts, several sorts of bread and rolls, cereal and so on.
Good value for money
As the name says it is a really beautiful and comfortable hotel with ok breakfast (day fresh bread would be a great addition). Balcony, nice bathroom with a roof window. Very central location. Parking available in next yard (for a fee). Very helpful guy in the reception.
We are very happy with our choice and will love to return. We also had an excellent meal and service in their restaurant.
Hotel is located in real down town. Nearby is one of the most popular restaurant “Mastné Krámy” and the main square in České Budejovice”. Design of hotel is coming from old time with some modern points. Breakfast is fine. Parking places in hotel are limited, recommendation is to book parking places in advance.
The location of this place is pretty good at the center of the old town but that's about it. They room had a nice charm but it's poorly kept, dirty, musty, creaking every step you take. If it was renovated and more effort is put in the management of the hotel instead of the restaurant it might become good.
Excellent location right in the center of Budweis, so everything is in foot distance, public transportation (even the main train station) is just minutes away. The room was beautiful and clean and the completely independent check-in and check out procedure was great!
The hotel was amazing value for money. It's actually not so far to the centre (10 to 15 minutes walk, straight along a road, so really easy). Such friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Clean and with excellent facilities.
Great location, easy to reach the city center. Well designed apartment for a comfortable stay. Such a comfy bed! Friendly approach of the owner. If I will come back to Ceske Budejovice, I will definitely stay here again.
Rooms were very clean.
Room size was appropriate.
The view from the 10th floor was impressive.
Parking inside the hotel yard was free.
The checking process was short .
Breakfast was 5 *.
The coffee was amazing.
I liked your Hotel CB Royal because the room is clean and the surroundings are quiet and you have peace of mind and the staff of Hotel CB Royal is kind .... Super ...thank you Hotel CB Royal .... God bless you
Good location -however those traveling by train or bus you have a 18-20 minute walk to the hotel. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Enjoyed hearing the river from our window.
Location of the hotel which was directly in the utmost center.
Ease of access, had two keys so there was nothing complicated.
The rooms were quite spacious for the price paid.
Nice hotel for a stopover. Very good breakfast. Located close to the old city which is very nice and to the river where you can do a great walk or run alongside.
The hotel is in walking distance from the city center. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast had a sufficient variety of food.
