Berlin is nice! But I think some German people could be more friendly and show a smiling face! For example, I am not happy regarding the rude, arrogant, and disrespectful service I received at the NH Collection Berlin Mitte am Checkpoint Charlie Hotel in Berlin. I am also concerned that there may have been an element of racial discrimination involved. So I have a bad experience in Berlin because of the bad service from the manager (Andreas Levi) of this hotel. So if you are going to this hotel, be careful with this guy!LiFrance - 8.0Scored 8.0

It was nice to visit the places where historical events took place and see the architecture. The city is never limited to a single theme. From the Middle Ages to the industrial revolution, from world wars to espionage stories, from freedom to techno parties, the city is alive 24 hours a day. Moreover, there is no chaos. Plenty of history. Old and not so old - we had a long list of placed and didn't see them all. Great network of trains, trams and busses. plus cycle and scooter hire. Food choices are limited but enough. Will definitely be going again

Every time I go to Berlin, I like it better.
Every time I go to Berlin, I like it better. This was no exception. One of my friends asked me why did I like it so much? I paused for a moment. I replied I don’t know why I like it so much-that’s why I like it so much. There is something magical about seemingly flying through the rooftops on the Sbahn. It’s a serendipitous city full of unexpected things around every corner. What could be just commonplace photo ops are given a depth and complexity by the ever present awareness of modern history

The hot water in the shower was the only positive.
The hot water in the shower was the only positive. This hotel should be closed down until the construction works are completed. At 0730am today 18th June work began making noise using a material hoist outside my window. The bed mattress was woefully uncomfortable, the carpets are dirty. My bedside light cables where joined with insulation tape. The elevator stopped 70mm too high and was a trip hazard. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

A very big city, but easy to see thanks to the excellent public transport system, which is very easy to navigate with the help of google maps functions. In Berlin, the Museums were definitely worth seeing, especially the Museum of Ancient Egyptian Culture, the Nature Museum and the Kupferstichkabiett gallery of ancient paintings. Eating out in Berlin is expensive, for a large beer producer, the prices of beer in pubs are very high. The best place for beer, fries and curry sausage was the BBQ Kitchen under the train bridge (Am Zwirngraben 5) and the locally recognized ramen place ALATA ramen&curry near the Nature Museum.SantaLatvia

The rooms were immaculate, and the breakfast had everything you would need to set you up for the day. The location is the added bonus. The Mercedes benz arena and main train station are practically on your doorstep. About a 5 min walk. Plenty of places to eat all around or only 3 stops on the U if you want to go into the city centre. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Berlin. 10 out of 10 ❤️

The room wasn't the most spacious, it was just big enough to not feel squished, the interior was better than good enough, everything was clean, comfortable enough beds, shampoo and soap in the bathroom, half decent wifi, also there was also a nice lobby on the 1st floor. Although nothing spectacular, but for 65€ a night (2 people) I find this is a pretty good value.
