This was the coolest place I've ever stayed at. The capsules are amazing. They are suppeeeer comfy, secure and private. I cant wait to go back to Berlin to stay there again. The capsules only had usb entry points, but outside every pod there was a multi plug. There were a lot of toilets and bathrooms, even though in the morning they were all busy. The location is very central and it is an easy access from the airport. Also, the 1-minute away lidl is very good if you want to buy shampoos and stuff. The wifi was good.

Quiet and comfortable place, I stayed in a room for 3 people, I like the hostel so much that on my another trip in Berlin stayed in that hostel again. Everything is clean and nice. Really like that they have tea, coffee, some sneaks for visitors. The owner Nelly is a very friendly person.

The room as well as toilets, showers, and rest of the Hostel was very clean. The sheets were good quality. Near the bed there is a little locker, but you need to take your own lock. There are also power sockets next to the bed. There was a lot of space in the room. Hostel service was very kind. I had possibility to leave my luggage in locker-room. There is also a bar in Hostel, so you can order some coffee in the morning. The Hostel had also more services (breakfast, laundry) which I didn't use, but I believe they work very good as well. Stay in this hostel was pure pleasure. I recommend it to anyone, short or long stay.

Friendly helpful staff, luggage storage room was so useful, very responsive in the app, great location minutes away from Karl-Marx-Straße Ubahn stop, shops and local amenities in the Neukölln area. Location was great, self check in was easy. The room and bathroom facilities were clean in general. This is why I chose this hostel and it was as expected. I stayed in a 4 female shared room and it felt safe. Wifi worked well in the room and in the sitting areas. There was a plug in each bunk bed. Quality/price ratio was fair.

It is the third time I stayed at Heart of Gold. Its advantages : great location in Berlin, the helpful staff and the big dormitory room, the luggage storage before the check in and after the check out. With a big plus during this staying for the receptionists that solved promptly the issues that I had. If you don't like socializing while staying at a hostel, then the big dormitory is an excellent choice.
