We spent one night here prior to a morning flight.
We spent one night here prior to a morning flight. I chose the hotel based on the fact that they had breakfast and airport shuttle. They were not included in the price of the room which surprised me. Getting to the hotel from downtown Munich required a ride on both the metro train and the bus. It's not within walking distance of the metro without catching the bus. The hotel was new, clean and modern. The best part was the little Italian restaurant across the street.

The village itself has nothing special to offer, but its proximity to the airport or being on the way between munich and other places like Landshut. If you don't want a hotel in the centeer, but well connected, this could be a good decission. You can also find bakeries and other business typical of a neighborhood around.

The breakfast was very good
The breakfast was very good
I do not recommend for foreign visitors who get late to the propriety because of delay in landing to take a car and try to come to this propriety
It is far from the airport and very dark at night
We did not find xomeone at the reception desk and had to call but we did not have a local sim yet
Finally the room was at the second floor without elevator and could not bring the laguage and also the warm water and the cold water is a problem when you take a shower

Hallbergmoos is a small town which seems to have become a breeding ground for hotels since the opening of the airport some years ago. It doesn't seem to have a lot of individual character; the land is very flat, it's a commuter town for Munich, and in the autumn can be foggy and unwelcoming. But it's fine for a stopover on your way to the airport. It's still semi-rural, and the Hallbergmoos S-Bahn station is 2.2 km out of town.

Really friendly employees all the way around.
Really friendly employees all the way around. Spent an extra night and was very comfortable in my room. FYI the part of the hotel across from the original has an elevator. Food was delicious- I had the Kaesespaetzle two nights in a row. It is the perfect hotel to book before your flight! The shuttle driver was friendly and efficient. This is my 3rd time staying there and I have recommended it to friends, who were also pleased.
I originally thought to go to Munich but this hotel was so close to the airport and I was wanting a good night's rest. This hotel has a very solid 'we know what we're doing' kind of feel. My room, clearly for solos, was very comfortable and the attached bathroom was very clean. The advantage of staying in a small town is the quiet.
The little town around it is truly walkable and charming.
The hotel has a shuttle if you arrange pickup and dropoff. Shuttle driver speaks English very well and is pleasant as are the staff.
The hotel was very clean with well-sized nicely appointed rooms. Air conditioning was a plus. Staff was pleasant and helpful (ie. calling taxis for us). Located close to the airport but not noisy. Rather far from Munich City Center so taxi rides were expensive. You could use buses & trains as an alternative. Less expensive by far but takes more time and can be challenging to negotiate the changes and stops if you don’t speak/read German. Good bar and restaurant on site but rather expensive for meals.
Everything was outstanding. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I ate the evening meal at Neuwirt, (Cordon Bleu), and enjoyed the excellent Fruhstuck! The young woman who checked me in also made arrangements for a taxi to take me to the airport the next morning. If I should make travel plans to fly to and from Munich in the future I will use Hotel Neuwirt if I need to be near the airport, and will recommend it to others.
Emergency one night stay needed as problem encountered at Munich airport. We had to reschedule flight for following day and quickly booked Movenpick hotel near airport on Booking.com. Took taxi to hotel and on arrival we were greeted at reception by friendly receptionist who immediately guessed who we were because he had just processed the booking online. Amazing service! He reserved table for us for dinner and booked taxi for following morning return to airport.
Reserved a room at 01.00 because I was stuck in Munich Airport. Mustafa was present at the counter when I arrived. It didn't take long to realize that this is the kind of guy that puts the customer first, and can get anything done. I needed a late check-out, and there was no problem, even though I had not stated that in advance. The hotel is located near Munich Airport. It is very clean, and new hotel. Can absolutely recommend!
Price & location were the only redeeming qualities.
Pillow should be put in garbage, blanket size so small only suitable for a child.
Property is old and run down, especially Regent Building. Upgrades to add internet has wires on the outside walls in room & hallway. Compared to the other 10 hotels I stayed at on this holiday for similar price, very poor.
The hotel is located not far from the terminal, but not so close. We were told that the hotel has a shuttle service, but just before we arrived, I was told it is a payable one (10€ per person). We found a taxi that was cheaper…
The room was very quiet and it was cleaned every day (even the towels).
Parking at the hotel, vending machines for drinks and snacks at the reception.
We chose this hotel for a planespotting trip at Munich Airport.
It's a good hotel for business travelers or those on a layover from the Munich Airport. It's large, well equipped and the rooms are comfortable enough. Breakfast buffet was varied and ample.
We spent here just one night, since we had very long waiting time in Munich Airport. The hotel itself was nice and clean, but there is nothing interesting in the neighborhoods.
For less than 100 euros/night, this place was way better than I expected. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay close to the Munich airport for a night.
I loved everything about this hotel !
Also good location if you don't want to use taxi. It is an easy bus ride to train station and from there to Munich or airport.
Very close and conveniently located to MUC airport. Nice village and quiet neighborhood. Good restaurant in walking distance from the hotel. Friendly staff.
