It's located on a small farm so had horses, chickens, rabbits and cows which our toddler loved looking at. There are options to eat there in the evenings (amazing home cooked meals) and you can order basic breakfast supplies to pick up in the morning so you can make yourself a great breakfast. Liked the bathroom and owner was helpful when experiencing one small problem opening the door, which was resolved quickly. The apartment is in a charming Black Forest village with a friendly bar/restaurant nearby and a train station. The location was extremely quiet.

It is quite in the middle of everything and between two of the major villages of the area (Gengensbach and Bad Peterstal). The room was also impressive, the bed was huge and very comfortable and we had a private terrace. Having private parking was great too.

The restaurant serves good food, and the price is not expensive. We enjoyed the stay and the warm hospitality by the staff. Will surely come back next time.
