Location is great. Staff also friendly. Close to everything. Parking was so so. When arrived the parking was full so we needed to park in other reserved (other company?) spaces then move the car once the Baden hotel space became open.

This was a wonderful find - a small (around 40 rooms), hotel with great, helpful staff. The rooms, hallways and breakfast room were decorated with old newpapers front pages and photos of politicos from the post war era. Our room had a Cuba theme with cigars, posters, a flag and numerous books about the country. The location was also good, within walking distance from the train station, the Beethoven Haus and the town square. The breakfast was included and was very good with many choices. There was also an outdoor terrace for lounging. We would definitely stay her again.

We liked the location since it was just around the corner of my friend's house we were visiting. A short little walk.
The hotel no longer offers breakfast but, they directed us to a bakery that was nearby, in short walking distance, to eat there and it was inexpensive and excellent. This bakery didn't exist 6 years ago when we were there the last time.

Bonn has two parts - the historic city with beautiful buildings, universities, cherry blossom streets, and the other one with UN agency offices with modern museums. The surrounding regions are also beautiful. Once you've seen this rather compact city, I recommend taking a hike to the hills for spectacular views of the Rhein Valley.

Compact old town centre (mostly reconstructed) with not much to see for tourists. Beethoven’s house was worth the visit though, we also enjoyed the Macke exhibition at the Art Museum. There were few decent restaurants around the town, we found an Italian, “Italiani” that served a good pizza. Lots of snacky places or SE Asian type food places. Seems to cater more for students. For us it was just an overnight staging post on a long journey, I couldn’t recommend staying there for any length of time (and if you do, give the hotel Lohndorf a miss…!).

Much smaller than its close neighbour, Cologne, Bonn does not get behind in terms of its great history, multicultural feeling, amazing food and drink options, excellent variety and efficiency of public transportation system, excellent facilites for pedestrians and cyclers and vibrancy of overall urban life, even late at night. And it really gets forward in terms of great historic architecture, public spaces, safeness and costs. I really enjoyed the experience, even for a work trip, I just loved wandering around the historic center, the Rhine front, the central train station and all the way south to the World Conference Center and west to the Alter Friedhof. All I saw, lived, ate and bought was met with nice people, great spots for taking pictures and amazing experiences. Would have loved to stay longer, to visit its many museums.

A smaller, but vibrant and multicultural city, with an amazing assortment of attractions (of which visited few, due to a very tight time and budget, due to attending a congress in the city) and the best and most convenient public transportation system that I have seen. The historic center is amazingly beautiful, clean and ordered, the Rhine border is beautiful and if you love Beethoven or are interested about Post-War Germany, this is the place to be. Lastly, I come from a place where cities are deserted at night, so going to a place where people are just, safely, enjoying in the streets, eating out or clubbing was a really nice experience to live, as an urban planner.
My work experience in Bonn was enhanced greatly by the experience at the Marriott Hotel - Bonn. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. The room allocated was comfortable and corresponded to what I booked, with no substitution as some hotels do in the last minute.
The location is perfect for a walk into the city along the river and is also close to the tram stop. Taxis are available at short notice.
I enjoyed quiet sleep and a great view of the river and the meals provided at the restaurant were great.
Basically everything was superb. This is the very best hotel in the area. Bonn is around the corner, as is the Eiffel region. So the location, the rooms and especially our suite, the staff, its room service, the atmosphere in the hotel, the great view over the river Rhein, the breakfast buffet, the beergarten next door, as well as dinner at night, whatever, it's great. I am really very positive; this hotel is (with some in Asia, NYC and Spain) in my worldwide top 5.
Room was comfortable and clean. Quiet location and just outside the old town area of Bonn.
Staff were welcoming and friendly. Tea & coffee facilities in the room along with toiletries in the bathroom. Reception unmanned overnight but contact number provided and room key opens the outside door so no issues.
Nice Tapas restaurant on the ground floor which is linked to the hotel. Would be happy to stay here again.
Unusual place, a very big garden room at the back of the property, well furnished and perfectly clean. I was fully occupied and only used it to sleep, so did not make use of the garden, but a great amenity if you are staying in central Bonn and don't need to stay in a hotel. Good supermarket a few doors away. Neighbourhood is quiet and pleasant with some small bars etc that I would have liked to try with more time.
Great location to explore Bonn! The staff were very nice when we checked in. The rooms were clean and a good size. We were only in the area for a weekend to see the cherry blossoms and enjoyed our stay. Can't say much about the bar, food, or facilities as we didn't use them. If we find ourself in Bonn again I would definitely check this hotel for availability.
We loved our stay in the heart of Bonn. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The front desk staff was very pleasant, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Written communication prior to our arrival was promptly answered. Breakfast was great - plenty of choices and lots of food. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Hotel Aigner.
The hotel is just around the corner of the Market Square - one of the main amenities of Bonn. The staff is young and the bar is lively. It's the epitome of hostel. What could be made better is to offer breakfast but probably for the time being it is impossible. Nevertheless, they offer a welcome drink which compensates.
Isabel, the receptionist, was very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including complementary tea and seltzer. Breakfast was delicious and in my opinion, good value for money. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and the city centre is only 20 minutes away.
The location in a very quiet and pleasant neighbourhood (despite a railway being just next to the hotel). Very clean, with everything you need. 20 minutes walk from the center, same time to a beautiful park, where was the concert I came for in Bonn.
Easy and clear self-checkin process.
The three-person room in the hotel has two rooms. Although there are only two people living there, the experience is very good. Especially after check-out, I helped to mail the missing items to Germany. I was very touched. I will go here next time on a business trip.
I had a wonderful stay at the Insel Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-located. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. I would highly recommend the Insel Hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Bonn.
The hotel is very modern and fresh. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious. Breakfast is good. The staff is super friendly and supportive. Parking is available on site and not as expensive as in the other hotels in Bonn.
Very convenient location just opposite the station, close to a variety of shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Small gym which opens early (at 6) which I had to myself. Kettle in the room which is quite rare in Germany.
The hotel is a little bit outside Bonn, but you can easily reach the city center by tram, and park your car near the hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners, family atmosphere, and my room was big and comfy.
The breakfast was excellent. The room and facilities were very good. The hotel is conveniently located next to a precinct with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants close by (this is not Bonn city centre).
Fantastic location close to city centre, especially if you use the underground passage to the train station. The room size was larger than other budget hotels.
