Wonderful experience and beautiful view.
Wonderful experience and beautiful view. We look the boat to the far end of Konigssee and hiked straight up for 2 hours to the waterfall. It was strenuous, but worth it. We stopped at Bartholomew on the way back, had a very good lunch at the restaurant and relaxed by the water before returning. The boats were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

Get there early. There's a lot of people here. You had to wait in line to climb the mountain but I'm not complaining cause it's spectacular there. I wish they had a common area trash can though cause I kept picking up discarded trash from other visitors.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

When planning to visit Königssee, there could not be a Moree lovely place to stay. The lady who runs the house couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is clean, tidy and neat. Breakfast - lovely.

You can walk to the center of Königssee and Berchtesgaden center with very beautiful views. Everything in the room was very clean and the room size was enough for 2 people. The facility was very clean and well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room had a great view of Jenner silhouetted by beautiful flowers. Breakfast was cold cuts, cereal, cheese, juice, and bread. I'll gladly stay here again when back in the Berchtesgaden/Schönau am Königssee region.

Breakfast items have very good variety. Room with tiny balcony, we are lucky enough to face the mountains with beautiful view to enjoy early morning. With a nice cuppa would be perfect, unfortunately it is not available like other hotels.

We stayed in room 216 which was on the back alley, but had a forward window and side balcony out of the afternoon sun. A breeze cuts across the room. Al's this room has a little view up the Alps.
