Fabulous large room (337), with balcony and seating area. Good and plentiful choices for the dinner and breakfast buffet, with different options each day. Very professional staff whilst also all being the friendliest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. The setting is perfect for walking in the area, which was the object of our holiday. We didn't use the spa/swimming pool/sauna facilities, however for anyone who enjoys that aspect of a holiday I would imagine you wouldn't want to leave the hotel at all.

We were initially forced to book this hotel as alternative as one day before the start of our trip, our originally reserved Hotel Garni Landhaus Sonnenstern informed us they had to cancel our reservation due to overbooking?! In the end, this change turned out to be a great experience. Surrounded by beautiful mountains with great restaurant for dinner, friendly hotel staff, very clean room with comfortable bed, and very nice breakfast. We will definitely stay here next time visiting Berchtesgaden!

Perfect location...not far from Konigsee & beruchtsgaden & across the street from St Sebastian church. The bed was very comfortable & the room quite large. The water got hot quite quickly which I loved. Often it seems we have to wait a while for it to warm up. One of servers for breakfast & dinner at the hotel was amazing & always seemed happy to see us. I wish I would have gotten his name.

The ambience in general is very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. We got served a filling breakfast everyday. The location is so nice that we could start our hike right from the hotel. One can also visit the beautiful Wimbachklamm, which is a ten minute walk from the hotel.

The house is beautiful German house, nice yard, beautifully resigned interior. Feels like you're actually living in an old town in Germany, it's beautiful! The room was very nice and clean. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very delicious!

Very friendly staff! Nice clean rooms! Great location between Koenigsee and Hintersee and instant access to trails. Parking is free for hotel guests. You also get a guest card for the area which includes discounts and free public transportation.

The hotel locationis absolutely perfect with stunning views from both the restaurant and room balcony. Room very spacious and clean. Food was fantastic with a good selection and very reasonable prices.

This was very comfortable and had excellent views. The family owned staff was very friendly and nice. Plenty of trails for hiking. I will definitely go back if I’m in Germany anytime soon.
