The breakfast was great. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Their suggestion for parking was excellent. The room was very comfy as were the beds. It was the best hotel we have had in Europe. We completely recommend it.

We received on request a quiet room on the garden side of the building. The size of the room was ok, but we also travelled with small amount of luggage. The breakfast was very nice with cold and warm dishes, coffee and juice. We probably ate the best bread in this hotel during our one week travel in Easter time. The best was though the friendliness and customer oriented staff who kindly heated the sauna for us on request. We really liked that. We parked in the underground parking of the hotel. We drive a SUV and the garage was ok in that regard. The price was very reasonable.

I like that the hotel is directly across from the Christmas market. I used to live in Worms. This hotel is right in the center and within walking distance of most things.

Worms is a city of historical significance, severely battered by WW2. The cathedral is impressive, the role Worms played in European Medieval history left some traces, and the city prides itself in the references made to it in the Nibelungen-legend. There is a monument commemorating the trial against Marten Luther in 1520, and the nice river front has a Nibelungen sculpture. This is a good one-day or mid-day stop-over for tourist with a deep interest in German and European history. But bear in mind that the area is rich in cities that offer similar significance but somehow have withstood the teeth of time a bit better

The city suffered greatly from the bombing in 1941-45, so the ensembles of the old streets did not survived there. But all important buildings are in the excellent condition. The cathedral is magnificent!

We hoped to see a beautifull city with one of the oldest cathedrals in Europe on our way back home. The cathedral is there already but around it a lot of concrete is visible. A real city center with restaurants does strange enough not exist.

lovely little city with so much history!
lovely little city with so much history! Jazz & Joy was a great festival and I would recommend it. Lovely atmosphere.
We also managed a train trip to a night club in Mainz without any problems. Worms is well situated to explore the wider area.
The hotel was easy to find, clean and nicely decorated.
The staff was very nice and polite, especially the lady who took care of the restaurant in the morning, she was extra nice.
The breakfast was great, with many options to choose from.
The room was nice and clean but pretty basic.
The bathroom was clean and it had enough space.
You can park in a paid parking near the hotel, they arrange that for you.
Very close to the city center and the railway station, but also to many shops and restaurants.
The internet connection was good.
A super cosy little apartment that was perfect for our needs as we passed through Worms. We are bike packers and were able to secure our bicycles safely in the basement storeroom. The weather was poor so we pretty much just stayed in and cooked our own meal for dinner (the supermarket is right across the street) and relaxed with some Netflix courted of the nice big TV. We were also able to do a load of washing which was a big plus!! The host Sonja was so helpful and nothing was a bother. She made us feel really welcome.
Very clean hotel. Probably too small to have full time reception. So it is all access by PIn Codes except for the room. Room had very basic fit out. No. 3 requires the following: power point at the desk, shelf above hand basin, hooks in the bath room. Court yard storage for bicycle is good. Free coffee. Simple breakfast.
I was surprised to find a small stove and fridge in my room (hidden in one of the closets). The room was a little spartan, but I wasn't expecting luxury, and it was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable (I have slept on worse beds in more expensive hotels).
Breakfast was fine: quite a lot to choose from.
The rooms were spacious and clean; beds were very comfortable; the shower was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious and convenient. The front of the hotel faces a work yard for unloading barges, but there was very little noise. Most employees spoke English and were very helpful.
We loved the breakfast overlooking the Rhine river. When the hotel learned that we were stranded due to a railway strike, they immediately made arrangements for us to spend an extra night. We really liked having a kitchenette. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating!
Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Perfect location for the Wormser Christmas market right outside the door. Near the cathedral. Very friendly and helpful breakfast attendant Anna. Good breakfast. Private Parking garage was very close and easy to access.
Nice hotel, kind owner, we had a balcony which was nice. Breakfast was good. We we're intrigued by the large number of paintings and stained glass dedicated to the Nibelungslied. The hunchback knight in the hallway was also a nice detail.
it was a beautiful hotel with all you would expect from a top quality hotel. The two female staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast. I’m sure most British travellers would find it a home from home
The hotel met my expectations, comfortable beds, pleasantly furnished rooms with the opportunity to taste home-made wine. An excellent restaurant right in the hotel, in the summer with the possibility of sitting on the terrace.
The breakfast was great. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Their suggestion for parking was excellent. The room was very comfy as were the beds. It was the best hotel we have had in Europe. We completely recommend it.
The location by the river was wonderful. Staff at hotel and restaurant courteous.
After feeling rather disappointed initially we soon realised that the position was great and things fell into place.
