Everything was very comfortable and convenient to and from the airport. I especially liked that the hotel took the time to welcome me with a sign scribbled on the room mirror with my name. That made me feel welcomed and I appreciated it. 🙏🏽

The food was great. The conditions in the rooms were very poor. Had to go to the front desk numerous times throughout my stay. The phone in the rooms or not working. The power Hotel went off numerous times and by the time they're generator would kick in we had to wait. We had to wait hours for towels because they didn't have enough clean ones. No shampoo no soap in the rooms.

The area is very noisy. A lot of traffic on the road.
The area is very noisy. A lot of traffic on the road. I did not feel safe and therefore did not explore the area. We stopped over one night and it was one night too long.Only encountered one person who spoke English and therefore it was very difficult to communicate with the locals.Hence your requests were dismissed because they do not understand what you are asking. Even with google translate it was quite a challenge.

Bo a chica has a nice and very vivid atmosphere very close...
Bo a chica has a nice and very vivid atmosphere very close to the airport and only 30 min from santo domingo center. You can tell it is a place where people living in the capital like to come to enjoy their week end. Unfortunately most people to not seem to care about littering resulting in the beach being full of litter. Another disturbing aspect is how everything there seems to be linked to prostitution justice anywhere else in coastal dominican republic when not in a big resort with a private beach.

Beach:
Shipyards opposite the beach.
Beach:
Shipyards opposite the beach.
Sand is grey and hard, not nice at all, and there is no privacy.
You can walk a 100 m but still, the water is to the knees. Also, the beach is packed with restaurants and bars with very loud music, and prices are very high for tourists.
Many locals are coming here as well so beach is too crowded and it is dirty everywhere, and I would never recommend it.
Surrounding area is dirty and we did not feel safe walking around, stayed most of the time inside the hotel area.
Prices in the restaurants are very high, we paid 1300 Pesos (around 25$ for 2 dishes, one fish and one chicken with potato, on a square right at the very noisy street, with plastic tables and chairs, served on plastic plates and cutlery. Dishes were tasty but not worth the price.
Definitely not a place we would ever chose to come back to.

Boca Chica shows the essence of Dominican Republic.
Boca Chica shows the essence of Dominican Republic. Narrow streets, terrible traffic, unplanned lifestyle and unfortunately very poor towns. Beaches are so nice but local bars are to pushy. It is not a place where you can take a relaxing vacation at all. Unfortunately the local tourist offer is not friendly, even there is a sensation of scaming style all the time, either in restaurants, bars, or even Uber.
The little town Boca Chica is very famous for the long history as the closeby beach town of Santo Domingo. During the weekend there are thousands of locals, who visit the town just for enjoy the beach with music and drinking. While the week days there are only a handful of tourist and older residents with their younger chicas. The Hotel Club Rolling Stone is located at the end of the line of a hotels at the beach side. It has directly access to his own beach.
Staff was very friendly. Even a lady that got off work from the hotel helped us get gas for our rental. She told us to follow her, she lead us to the gas station and back. We really wanted to thank her with some money but she drove off after leading us back. Whoever that lady was "Thank you!" May you be blessed in many ways for going out your way. It was great location, close to the airport because we had to be in the airport for 3:30 in the morning.
This property is in a great location right in the heart of Boca Chica. It’s steps away from the beach and there are quite a few excursions that offered by the property (at an extra charge). Also the all inclusive package ensures that you will have more than your fill of food and drink (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). My house keeper was a sweet woman who did her best to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Location was quieter than expected at night. For the price, it's a reasonable option. The Hilton half a mile away costs almost triple per room. For 4-5 hours of sleep, it's a good option. The AC works well. And the room was dark enough. It feels like the staff/hotel is doing the best they can with what they have to work with.
I didn't like it from the beginning, the room was on the 3rd floor, there was no elevator, the regular room, there was no Wi-Fi, the disconnected TV could not be seen, I also paid cash and then they tried to withdraw 2 times from my credit card; I called them and they told me they were unaware; I will not settle in that hotel again anyway.
We stayed in Punta Cana for 4 days but wanted to experience Santo Domingo as well. we spent a full day at this hotel. the location is perfect. everything is walking distance. the supermarkets, the pharmacies, restaurants and even the beach.
we stayed in the one bedroom and it was quite cozy. felt like I was back home in my apartment.
We had an amazing time at Hotel Magic Tropical.
Camila was a great host, very antentive and even prepared us a snack for the day after, as we were leaving very early due to our flight.
Our room was perfect and WIFi reception was the best on our entire stay in Dominican Republic.
The Boat House must be the best place to stay in Boca Chica. It is right on the beach, with a nice open restaurant and bar where you can chill all day and night. The room I had was good, basic but very comfortable, including the bed and the shower.
The room was big.
The room was clean.
The AC worked great.
Nice balcony on 4th floor, not crazy about the stairs but the room was quiet for Boca Chica.
I did not use the pool but it seemed above average for Boca Chica.
It’s good hotel with very reasonable price, reception employees is great, security guards Marcos and his colleague is perfect, location is amazing, good parking lot for cars
The only redeeming quality of this hotel, albeit debatable, is the location. However, if you are not a heavy sleeper don't count going to bed before 2am.
Exceptional stay in a beautiful and clean spot. Conveniently located near key points in Santo Domingo, Boca Chica, and the airport. Highly recommended!
