This Hotel is a true gem. First and foremost the owners are attentive, thoughtful and well mannered. They arranged us a very simple and straightforward way for a late check in with a passcode for the hotel and room door which they have provided to us via Booking messaging system and Whatsapp. The Hotel is excellently located near the Valencia Nord train station, the city centre (Placa de Ajutamento), the Metro station Xativa with lines to the Airport and to the City of Arts and sciences. I highly recommend this Hotel If you intend to explore Valencia using public transport, even If You intend to visit the Malva rosa beach you can use the bus no.31 that stops like 2 min away from the Hotel at Placa Espanya. The room is small, but well designed so that It has everything You could need. The bed and the shower are very comfortable. We had a room on the top floor (4th) so It is not pleasant to stay in the room without the AC on. We used to switch on the AC when we would come back to the room and the room was chilled in less than 5 minutes. I can affirm that this Hotel is spotless, room cleaning is every day and change of linen and towels is done every two days (even every day If requested was said to us). The breakfast is a nice touch. You dont need to worry about going out and getting breakfast at some place in the city, you can grab a generous breakfast, coffee and juice before you go on with your daily plans and adventures.

    Not sure why anyone would go to Alboraia, there is literally...

    Not sure why anyone would go to Alboraia, there is literally nothing to do there! You would be better off going to Benimaclet (2 metro stops away) this is where you get the tram to the beach. If you are planning on walking to the beach from Alboraia, it is approximately 50 minutes away. Alboraia is primarily a residential area, there is a bar/restaurant next door to the hotel but it doesn’t open until 6pm. I used the bathroom one night while having a drink there & it was filthy, so we immediately dismissed the possibility of eating there! The only other restaurant is across the road from the hotel which again, does not open until around 5.30/6pm - looked lovely but never went in there. City centre Colon is about 5 or 6 stops away, airport is 19 stops. Metro is about a 3 minute walk from Olympia hotel. Do not plan on ever going back to Alboraia for all of the above reasons.

    For a reasonable fee we were picked up promptly from airport by Alex a friend of the owner. We were met at the apartment by Yuri and explained everything about Wi-Fi etc. Welcome gift of wine, water and cookies was a lovely gesture. View from balcony was amazing, the apartment is very spacious. Free bus number three outside apartment takes you to Patacona beach where you can pick up bus 32 into València centre. Very large supermarket 15 mins walk. Port Saplaya is beautiful some great restaurants looking onto the marina

Going for a walk to the Malvarosa beach area is a pleasant stroll. - Supermarket (Consum) is within 5 minutes walking distance. - Bus stop at the door with line 31 to Valencia downtown. - Quick and helpful communications (thank you, Vittorio).

    The hotel receptionists were very friendly. The communal decor was dark and traditional, but the room was comfortable. The grounds looked extensive, perhaps more suited to summer outdoor pursuits. The restaurant menu had plenty of choices and the staff were helpful. The location is a short drive from town, so a car is essential. We enjoyed our stay.
