We were in Punta Pina, south of the town of Torrevieja.
We were in Punta Pina, south of the town of Torrevieja. It is a small resort. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants along the main road and up a side road opposite the supermarket and other shops and resaurants. There is a seafood restaurant next to the very small beach and another two places between the main road and the beach. These are all the facilities that are within walking distance. Beware there are pickpockets on the beach, we had our bags...
Beware there are pickpockets on the beach, we had our bags stolen with cards and phones when we went for a swim. This was the first time this happened in all of our years travelling. There is no option to hire sunbeds in Playa Los Locos or on Playa de la Mata which meant there was no one keeping an eye and this may have been a factor we think. Torrevieja is a big city on several beaches,all are lovely,along the sea front there is every kind of restaurant ,all affordable,the city itself also has cafes,restaurants and bars plus many shops for you to get lost in if you want a day away from the beach,every nationality is their and mix together well,a big bonus is,especially if you have mobility problems,it's dead flat,you can walk for miles,this was my 2nd visit to Torrevieja this year and will be going back again September timeGuest review byStephenUnited Kingdom - 4.0

Area not for us too many houses & apartments, concrete building as far as the horizon. Not to our personal liking, busy roads not relaxing area in Punta Prima. I am disabled but found everyone very helpful It was easy to get around. The beaches were clean. The taxi drivers were helpful, and reasonable. I ate mainly in the Hotel as the weather wasn't very good. But the food produced in Restaurant Martini's was Spanish food at its best. There was a nice walk along the beach when the weather was good. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday that is the place to go. For nightlife, you would need to go into the city itself. But it was just perfect 👌 for me.Guest review byChristineSpain
