La Jonquera is a place we had to stay in (we were passing through walking the GR11) rather than one we chose to stay in. The hotel overlooks the motorway and railway line and is one of a row of characterless buildings. But it was clean and perfectly pleasant. It is adjacent (in the same building) to both a big restaurant and a huge supermarket.

well equipped, clean, many bed options, cozy village just next to the border and a very friendly hostess.
We arrived very late and she still met us in person. We also wanted to leave very early, so coffee, tea and milj were left at the table for us.
The buildung looks unimpressive compared to the surrounding stone houses, but it has sicha character inside. Fotos notch it down.
We will visit again. The area is beautiful and the views from the cuevy road to the village must ve amazing.

This was our 6th visit of this year, we always stay here when transiting through France to Spain and vice Versa, a very convenient location right on the motorway, with friendly staff and comfortable rooms just the place for a night stop over, and dog friendly too.

A great hotel to stop over on your travels to or from Spain.
A great hotel to stop over on your travels to or from Spain. The staff were so friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. This was our first time staying here but it won’t be our last, we will definitely be back on our next return journey to Spain.

I was only two nights on two separate occasion.
I was only two nights on two separate occasion. In the pandemic time you can't really enjoy this place. Most places were closed. I can only imagine how nice would be there in a different time. La joungera is the border with France and Spain. It is perfect stop before next level of travel.

easy to find hotel but signage hidden under big Bingo advert...
easy to find hotel but signage hidden under big Bingo advert, generally good for 1 night travelling through, place needs a refurb not that clean but ok.
fairly good access to rooms for people with poor mobility, as lift in vestibule available from either ground floor entrance back or front.
Excellent Hotel! This was our 2nd stay and it definitely won’t be the last. Super friendly personal, free parking, pet friendly (dog bed and a second baby bed were included in the price). The rooms were absolutely clean and and very modern. The air condition worked fine, our night was quiet and our sleep was good. This is the perfect stay of you’re travelling to Spain by car as a family with small kids. 10/10.

The hotel is a truck stop, not a resort location. However, the room and reception are clean, new, and surprisingly quiet despite a lot of trucks in the area. There is secure parking on-site, very important for traveling with luggage in the car. For a one-night transit stop the location is perfect and a good value.
People were very friendly and helpful, room very clean and beds comfortable, room was large kettle would have been useful but not allowed under COVID-19 restrictions. Free parking outside but limited. To get to the front entrance need to drive through a truck stop area. Hotel on first floor but lift is available.
We travelled via La Jonquera before, but hotel we had before had a lot more noise, This hotel/room was much better without all the noise.
The restaurant downstairs (GBL the bistro - we did not want buffet) was very good. Good value for money and friendly staff.
We were very happy with this hotel. The room was big and the bathroom clean and new. The location was a bit weird but I think that is what La Jonquera is like. We would stay here again.
Everything as expected except that I couldn't have dinner as the restaurant was closed due to Corona (odd, as the restaurant was open at a hotel nearby). Breakfast was very basic.
The room was fine and location great. Also the parking in front with plenty of spaces. Very convenient that the restaurant and supermarket right door to door from Hotel lobby.
Great staff and a very friendly check-in. Hotel is ideally placed for shopping locally and trips further afield. Our room was a good size and very comfortable.
