Convenient Location which was very close to shopping mall, old city and other tourist attractions. The room was comfortable but had limited seating area.
A short walk from the beach, this chic and simple hotel serves a great breakfast and you can stay up-to-date on the free wireless internet connection – relax in the lounge.

Good value
Tarragona is located on the sunny ‘Costa Daurada‘, in southern Catalonia. With an inheritance dating back to local tribes, Carthaginians and Romans, it is today a vibrant cultural and economic centre. Don’t miss the ‘human towers’ during Tarragona’s Santa Tecla Festival, but check your hotel availability for the area with enough time in advance.
The ‘human towers’ became so popular all across Catalonia that they can be visited throughout the year at the festival centre ‘Casa de la Festa’. Try the local seafood dishes in El Serrallo fishing district, and don’t miss the wines from the area.
The city was an important provincial capital during Roman times and includes several UNESCO World Heritage sites, with the seaside amphitheatre from the 2nd century being the most relevant. The 12th-century Cathedral of St Mary was built on the site of a former Jupiter temple and a Muslim mosque, and mixes Romanesque and Gothic styles.
Reus Airport is a few kilometres outside the city, while Barcelona El Prat Airport is 90 km away. Tarragona is located near Salou resort, and hotels in the area are also very popular. Whether you need a guest house in the historic centre or a resort on the beach, check out the Tarragona accommodation deals on Booking.com!
Very nice small coastal city. Ramble Nova was fun place to eat/drink/walk, good public transportation, convenient train station, several nice beaches, walkable city, clean sidewalks and streets, friendly and helpful businesses and locals. Welcoming to tourists.

Tarragona was the Roman capital of the Iberian Peninsular so there are a lot of Roman remains, ruins etc. There are also lots of interesting shops and a great market. If you go to the market, look out for the clock at midday.

Tarragona is a beautiful historic city with a lovely coastal backdrop. There are cultural things to do in the town and seaside walks and paella/seafood restaurants by the beach so a great place to combine activities. We've visited three times and been enchanted by the cathedral, local eateries and the countryside. Great to visit with a car or with pets and worth exploring all along the coastline, wetlands to the south and of course more of Catalunya to the North including the famous Sitges en route to Barcelona.

It was easy to walk around and see the sights.
It was easy to walk around and see the sights. Tarragona was a very interesting city. I enjoyed seeing the Mediterranean Sea and the gardens near the old Roman Amphitheatre. I also enjoyed looking at the Roman Circus. We ate at the Forum Restaurant opposite hotel Place de la Font, in the old city square (i.e. Pllace de la Font) . The quality and service at the restaurant was outstanding.
Everything was wonderful, including the breakfasts at hotel de la Font, There is nothing that i would avoid.
We like the cozy apartment very much. It's situated in the old town that is so quaint and nice to discover. So close to the new part as well. We did a few places in Spain, and Tarragona was our before last place before Barcelona. Nothing was missing in the home for a nice experience. It felt like everything was available to make us feel at home. Don't be fooled by the entrance. When you get in the apartment, there is everything one needs and more. The host, Francesc, was cordial and helpful.
The hotel felt new, clean, lovely decor. Room was spacious and had great amenities (desk, big TV, minibar fridge). Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very very good and was kept well-stocked. Loved the self-serve espresso machine. Location was an easy walk to the Roman ruins. Neighborhood was lovely. Great view of the sea. Grounds were very serene and underground parking a bonus!
We chose the hotel for it's location but the train directly next to the hotel was never the one we needed. The hotel was always swamped with guests trying to check-in and not enough staff. The room was super hot and not that clean. The front desk was okay but the least cheerful or helpful compared to all the other hotels during our two week trip. Sorry but wouldn't recommend.
Xavier, the owner, is an exceptional host - friendly, funny, and helpful with recommendations and directions. The staff overall was kind and welcoming. The hotel is within perfect walking distance of the main city street, old town, beach, and bus station. Communal kitchen supplies and a fridge on the first floor allowed us to prepare our own breakfast on the go in the morning.
A very nice surprise. I stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time. Beautiful, family runned hotel with a bunch of crazily-nice decorations. The room was perfect, a blend of antique and minimal. Also very close to the market and the beach. Staff was super friendly and ready to assist in any way. I would highly recommend it.
Apartment itself was modern, with interior stone wall running straight through it. Large flat screen tv and sofa. Good kitchen and very clean. It’s less than 10 minutes walk to the main Ramblas street in tarragona and 10 minutes to the beach which was great. I like the ease of check in. Key safe and code on the front.
We've stayed here before for overnight stops when driving down to SE Spain, and will no doubt return. The hotel is easy to find and well located, within a short walking distance of everything. There's a public underground car park opposite the hotel that's very convenient and cheaper than many in Spanish cities.
Fabulous location in easy walking distance of the old town, marina, market etc. Very clean comfortable hotel, very much in keeping with the price charged. Breakfasts were excellent and the bars were spot-on, especially the Caelum bar by the rooftop pool. A great introduction to Tarragona.
The host is very friendly and keen to reply to your questions, requests.
Very nice location to explore Tarragona and Catalunya!
Close to the beach and a beautiful view on the natural landscape and the city!
Very close and view onto the harbour and beautiful luxury yachts.
Small friendly hotel. Helpful staff. They serve their guests breakfast (not buffet style).
Clean and comfortable. Good air conditioning in our room. Minutes from a sandy beach.
Ample free parking and a bus stop outside. Worth paying for balcony and sea view.
The location is perfect, is in the main square with a lot of options of restaurants. It's close of the Beach, all the touristic points of Tarragona and the train station. The Room's and the estructure are ok.But have a big problem: DON'T HAVE A RECEPCIONIST.
It was small , very friendly staff , nice pool and area
5 minutes walk to the beach, bus stop just down the road 10 minutes to Tarragona centre.
Good food, air con worked very well, room cleaned and towel change everyday, would stay again …,
Well located hostal near the old center of Tarragona. Room is very basic, but clean and comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast is not included, but there is a cafe in the bottom floor of the hotel that was open early for coffee.
This is a nice hotel, located close to the beach. The room was bright and a decent size, and the large bed was very comfortable. Whether the location is convenient for the old town depends on your ability to walk up a very steep hill.
Charming apartment in the heart of Tarragona. Well equipped, comfortable sofa and bed. Spotless bathroom.
Don't try to drive to it! The sat-nav joyfully ignores the ever narrower streets ...I got out before it was too late!!
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Located at the entry of old town it is convenient to several plazas, bars and restaurants. Walkable from the train station and to monuments, museums and the beach.
