Valencia is a beautiful city, especially the old city centre. It is a pity that there is a lot of traffic, the streets in the old centre are narrow and the cars filled it up. If most cars were not allowed, the city would be much more interesting. It is also a pity that in a lot of places in Valencia there was a not pleasant smell. Also the park where formally the river Turia was is interesting, nice to visit is the part with the modern buildings.

The city is clean. People are very friendly if you need any help. Public transport works great and is cheaper compared to other European cities. The architecture of the city is fantastic. Valencia is awesome.
Valencia is awesome. Often compared to Barcelona but is quite different in many ways to Barcelona. Excellent value for money. Great food and wine, as well as Agua de Valencia (try it). So much history and different styles of architecture and the people are so helpful. It's very easy to get around in Valencia with buses and Metro or very reasonable metered taxis. I loved the Food & Wine tastings and Thermal Springs tour (outside of Valencia city). Met some great people, with fabulous guides and brilliant experiences. A lovely place to visit, plenty to do. At least 3 days would be ideal. Easy to walk around both the old town and in the Turia Gardens, which is a must. Wonderful architecture both old and new at the Arts Centre and Oceanographic.
