the wall of the luggage area in the room was all dirty and there scratches in the wall
The location is quite good being just a ten minute walk to the town centre. Parking is secure and handy. The receptionists are excellent. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice for €5.50. Clean and comfortable. There is a massive shopping centre with restaurants below the building.
The restaurant food was very good but we had a bit of a wait for our meal.
Hotel is a really stunning building. Rooms are huge and modern. Big garage and helpful staff.
Still, you can see first signs of wear in the rooms. Not everything in the arrangement in the rom is clever made, like shower next to the toilet...
This place is wonderful value for money. The building itself is a work of art, we wandered around inside and out. The design of the rooms is also very cool and to an extremely high standard. The staff who greeted us were courteous and very helpful. I would really recommend this hotel.
Very few staff. We planned to have lunch and a few drinks at the hotel before heading out, but had to leave because there was no one serving at the bar after 20 minutes, and same at the restaurant (both timetabled as open). We did eat at the restaurant,= another day, but there was only 1 waiter who spent most of the time away from the seating area. On a related note - I don't know it was the size of the place or not, but the whole hotel felt empty. To the extent that it could start to feel a little eerie.
The architecture Room layout and design Service Staff friendliness
Twin beds would not stay together
Room, location is walking distance to the centre, parking under the hotel, very helpfull staff
We took breakfast in the cafe in front of the hotel. Much cheaper and nice atmosphere in the morning
Everything was top drawer
Large, comfortable room with air con, great views, excellent parking facilities with a lift from the underground car park, friendly and helpful staff (gave us a map and recommended Gascona), excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, good location, impressive facade.
The wi-fi log on was a bit complicated.
We only stayed one night, but liked everything about this modern, unusual hotel. Well located in an interesting small city, with well-trained staff and well-equipped rooms. Great value.
The room (a junior suite) was excellent, really comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We only stayed one night as a halfway stop between A Coruña and Bilbao but in hindsight would have stayed longer
The underground parking was a bit pricey
The building itself is fantastic, and the corner room that we had was large and the facilities good. Notwithstanding my other comments I am delighted to have stayed here.
Breakfast was fairly good but not outstanding. The room itself is totally bare and thus noisy. The staff were helpful, but in an offhand way, always answering the phone even though you were waiting in front of them. It is a bit of a walk down into the park and old town centre, but pleasant enough and a small inconvenience compared with the pleasure of staying.
Fantastic building, comfortable room, friendly English-speaking staff, great breakfast, convenient location.
Have to pay extra to use spa facilities.
On arrival the spaciousness gives off that wow factor. There is more than ample drop-off space in front of the hotel and there is hotel parking (in large bays) on level -3 of the underground car park. Rooms are bright and airy and bathroom spacious. A short walk to the many restaurants along Avenida De Galicia.
Despite being relatively new, white walls show up plenty of scuff marks in room as well as common areas. The walk back from the old town is predominately uphill so a taxi may be a wise call.
The room was amazing as was the view. Breakfast was great.
There was no food available on the monday but this made us go out and we found a fabulous sideria.
Very clean comfortable hotel Professional check in, where staff gave all required information
The building is just fantastic! It really has the WOW factor. Our room was huge, great views fabulous bathroom. It is the best placed we have stayed at. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good too.
A stunning building, spotlessly clean and excellent helpful staff. Very quiet for a good night's rest while travelling
No bacon at breakfast ! No gluten free bread for coeliacs
Lack of available food or snacks after travelling. No Room service on a Sunday where there was no access to shops meant group were starving. Otherwise great stay
Special price deal, comfort, style, space, architecture, huge bathroom with two showers and two handbasins, good bed, quiet, elevators. Staff helpful. You can park right outside hotel for 20 minutes to check in before taking your car to the hotel's designated area in the underground car park - easy to use and E13 a day parking is reasonable.
It is at least a 20 minute walk to the town centre, using a map to find the way - not an obvious route. Bus stops are not right outside the hotel entrance, but fairly close - 200 metres maybe. Buses seemed about 15 minutes apart, and you need a bus map to see which lines work for you. If arriving by car, mark the hotel location on a detailed map of Oveido. We had difficulty finding the hotel on our small map of the city and the booking.com directions were no help. Oviedo is a big, fast-moving traffic system and street labelling is brown on gold and hard to see.
Only stayed for one night but very helpful and courteous staff. AMAZING building. VEry modern. Pity we did not get to spend more time and use the facilities advertised.
The room service was sub par. Coffee was cold and my husband's burger bun was too crusty to eat.
Loved the large modern rooms and the friendly staff. It was a pleasant 10-15 min walk to the old town which we enjoyed exploring. Restaurant closed the day we booked but plenty of others to choose from only a short walk away. Would definately return and stay longer.
Architecture of the building and the position of the hotel in the building hotel.
Street noise when the window was open.
Wonderful hotel with staff willing to go that extra mile to please.
Very modern, large room, trendy fixtures & fittings. The whole experience was enjoyable the staff were friendly and the building was amazing.
