Clean. New. Not a big tourist area. Great to walk along the beaches. More relaxed than Barcelona. Plenty of transportation options. Local focus on fitness. Food at the hotel was great. Roof top pool and bar were perfect. Staff very helpful!

* friendly and helpful staff
* well equipped kitchen with the powerful stove
* good location (but see cons)
We had issues with the air conditioner (see cons), but staff was able to quickly find the solution for us. eventually we moved to a different hotel, and the rest of our stay was refunded.

You have everything in hand. Basically it feels like your home.
The location is perfect too: close to market, close to stores, close to beach (~1 min easy walking).
Also the hosts are amazing :) We'll return here every time we take a vacation in Badalona. I recommend it.

This my second stay at this hotel and I recommended to my friend who happened to get the room next door! The hotel is very near to the beach (we could see it from the window) near to the train station and a short walk from then nearest metro. The street it is on is well placed for places to eat (the vegan cafe Ingrediente Secreto is literally across the street and is the BEST) - plenty of cafes/ bakeries/ fruit shops. It’s a great location if you love to watch the sunrise from the beach or have an early swim. There are lots of opticians and shoe shops and a choice of clothes shops like H&M and useful home wares shop- they sell everything from cushions to insoles for shoes to umbrellas and face jewels; Great on a rainy day!

Just outside barcelona it had good links to get into the city. If you want to see sights then best way is travel on Metro and buses but be prepared for a lot of walking. The travel cards are really good value for money we stayed 6days but bought the ones for a month they were about $20 each and allowed access to metro bus and tram. We were excited about the beach but they were really busy on the weekend Also its the norm for women to be topless we didn't appreciate this especially as we were travelling with children. Did find a quieter area away from the main beaches platja de litoral. Food we needed Halal options - a lot of options were fast food like doners and pizza. They weren't really nice settings more like local native settings but food was good quality. Generally people were friendly and just going about there day. It wasn't chilled relaxing holiday you are in full tourist mode and on the move. We stayed in a apartment which was good with all the facilities to was and dry clothes etc with kids. However next time I will book something which includes breakfast and housekeeping. In summer you definitely want accommodation with Air Con. If you want to book excursions or activities they all add up. We visited Tibidabo a theme park it was €35 each. Most other parks like Guell were about the same. It can get expensive. we mostly travelled into Barcelona using train which was 20 mins walk away from Apartment. We only spent one day in Badalona and discovered that the museum shuts for the afternoon and couldnt find out how to visit the Anais Factory. Beach was fabulous and pretty quiet in April. As I was here for work I cannot attest to the accessibility of tourist attractions. There is secure and free private parking, which is a real rarity in Barcelona. The real star though is your hostess, Fujuan. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, from tasty breakfasts to any extra amenities. If you want a BnB with a family atmosphere at an affordable price, this is a great pick.

First of all we were welcomed by this lovely family who showed us around the property. Everything is newly renovated and the house has all the amenities you need for a perfect vacation. The host is also very accommodating. They gave us several nice tips for the area and they were also extremely flexible regarding check-in/check-out times. The spa was great for a soak and sauna, there was an ice room which was awesome! I was able to fill my water bottle on the 2nd floor which is nice. The bed & pillows were so comfortable! There’s a kettle in the room which is helpful for making tea and instant coffee! Beach was super convenient and we felt safe. Badalona felt like a locals beach where the summer day camp kids go to have fun!

Very expensive apartments in the development state around but a very strange and poor district. Beach and store 15 minutes on foot or other (better) 8 min by car. A spacious apartment with very basic equipment. Bad insulation from the street, many heavyweight passes. All together, we had a good stay as value for money.
