In the picturesque town of Agaete, this hotel has a subtle nautical theme and a fantastic spa to enjoy. Head down to the nearby beach for breath-taking scenery and a swim in the Atlantic Ocean.

All what a solo traveller, motorbiker and trail runner needs to recharge the energy for next day full of canaria activities. Clean, calm during the night, decent and fruendly dorm mates, respecting the private space. Thanks a lot!

If you want to get a bit more remote and not in the high rise this is your spot. In the old town there's a few places to eat, don't leave it too lateen a Sunday or there's not much open.
The port is fine, plenty of restaurants you'd expect on the quay. Loved the swim pools, discovered them on our second last day & would have used them and the promenade more had I known!
The road south is great fun with epic views, but not for the faint hearted with tiny windy roads and potential rock falls if it's been raining.
Nice spot, nearby coffee plantations a great day trip.

Fish restaurants in the Puerto area are all brilliant.
Fish restaurants in the Puerto area are all brilliant.
Agaete town is quiet and sleepy, but lovely. Excellent coffee at the bakery. the Huertas de las Flores is a gorgeous and lush oasis of amazing trees and flowers.
the municipal library is a wonderful community space.
Excellent location and starting point for some really good hikes. Local public transport is really good. We took the local bus to Los Berrazales coffee place (finca la Laja), then walked back along the valley floor ('el valle' or 'el barranco').
Perfect place for a quiet holiday - lots of other visitors, but it is not a 'big resort' kind of place, just people who come for hiking and very good fresh fish!

Agaete has a magical spirit, which is hard to describe rationally. In the compact and pretty town center is a wide range of cafés, bars and restaurants. Narrow streets elevate the whole slope up to the topmost view. Often there is some music festival in the town. Surrounding mountain are always visible, being a background for small beautiful places that are worth to seek for. Neighbouring port town offers beaches, natural piscinas and more bars and cafés. Supermarket is located practically halfway between, together with a closed bath (also suitable for children) and gorgeous Hondo café, which would be a mistake not to visit. Agaete is easy to reach by car using highway, which is currently being extended further south. However, bus services are poor in speed due to detouring to many villages along the highway and often delayed, and most of all too infrequent except for the line to Las Palmas.

No hot water when arrived.
No hot water when arrived. Dodgy tap in a bathroom meant no hot water all the stay. Ants in a bathroom all ten days. Damaged bathroom door. No toaster. No "free toiletries or toaster" both advertised.
Sparse kitchen utilities. No pegs for hanging out washing. Two outside lights missing.
Contacted both booking.com, Holidu and the useless Victor Ramos. E mails over nearly all ten days, and the responses to all queries raised. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Victor exists to stall clients, do nothing and prevent money being spent. He blames the owners if he cannot do anything (he know exactly what he is doing ...........) Basically rubbish

We weren't that impressed about Agaete as there were only few shops and the local supermarkets had a rather modest choice of food. Agaete scores well in terms of atmosphere (old buildings, narrow roads, picturesque port) but you can't compare it with the much more lively, bustling Galdar. We liked the port area and the rock pools but didn't find them outstanding in any way. Agaete is certainly worth visiting but we felt it tends to get a bit overrated. For us Agaete was a great base for exploring the North and West of Gran Canaria but a bit less of a great destination on its own.

A small town with a number of small shops, two banks and a couple of places to eat out or take a coffee. There is no supermarket. There is a town square with a pretty church, but this is usually closed. The nearby Maipes archaeological park is well worth a visit. The botanical gardens are tiny but for €1, again worth a visit. From Agaete you can walk to Puerto de las Nieves in about 20 minutes (Spar supermarket en route) where you can enjoy the beaches, the natural swimming pools and watch the ferry going to a from Tenerife.
Beautiful apartment with large balcony with dining table, sun loungers and a great view. In the centre of Agaete, right by free parking. Very helpful and responsive staff. A couple of minor issues occurred & they were fixed immediately.
We stayed a week. In February most restaurants in Agaete Town were only open at the weekend. We were happy though to walk (20 mins) to restaurants by the port. You could also cook in the spacious kitchen/dinner if you wanted to.
Beautifully furnished 2-story house high above the main square in Agaete. Paolo was there to meet us and explained everything. The bed was so comfortable. The terraces were great, especially the top one with great views of the village and Puerto de las Nieves. The sun comes on the terrace about 9.30/10am. Then you have it all day and can watch the sunset over the sea. We walked everywhere but see note about the steps!
The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views of the ocean, clean and spacious rooms and it’s perfectly situated near natural pools and rocky cliff backdrops. The staff is very friendly, the food was great with plenty of options for all appetites and everything was sparkling clean. I can only say good things about this hotel and I will definitely come back in the future.
The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the large patio where we had more than one barbecue and chatted for hours over good wine.
The location is excellent, Agaete is a very picturesque village with plenty of space to walk, see the cliffs, go to the beach or swim in one of the natural pools.
It was a very pleasant stay, the location is great, the stuff was very helpful, the room very modern, with a terrace and a room swing...and the view, wonderful. I also had breackfast included with a great variety of food. I think it was the best hotel i stayed at.
We loved Agaete and this was a great stay, we felt at home.
The place was clean, kitchen had all the amenities we needed for cooking, the balcony was a great addition and communication with Paolo was smooth and friendly.
Would definitely recommend staying here!
Wonderful view of the atlantic from the balcony. Nice and spacious room, good shower, nice location. Huge breakfast buffet. Easy to find free parking in the vicinity of the hotel. And we love the location close to cosy Agaete and low key Puerto de las Nieves.
It was a very good stay. The apartment is not big but a cozy one. The bed is comfortable, I like the quality cotton sheets. The outdoor space is very big, an awesome terrace. Agaete is a lively historical town, not to be missed. Owners are very pleasant
We stayed at the apartment for 14 nights.
The balcony was pleasant to sit out and eat breakfast or evening meal.
The property is situated between the old quarter of Agaete and Puerto de Las Nieves, but is not actually in either.
Location was magnificent great for before, during and after trekking lovely feeling of home. Agaete is a special place with even more of a special ambience locals are very friendly and helpful.
It is a very stylish apartment with beautiful fittings and high ceilings. Very convenient location - just near Agaete town square, the local restaurants and the bus stop.
Amazing traditional house with amazing little garden and a parking place in amazing old part of town of Agaete. Perfect communication, no problems, everything perfect 👍
Right in the Centrum of Agaete. Large parking close by. Very clean facilities. Doubble bed in shared bedroom not great.. Everything else 5/5 would go back.
We've stayed here before and enjoyed it both times. Hotel buffet dinner is good, and there are some lovely restaurants on the harbour a short walk away
