The staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome, they were very caring, open and happy to help with anything. The room was large with a walk-in wardrobe, bath and shower which gave us a lot of space and freedom to use the facilities. The balcony deserves special attention, it was always sunny, warm, cozy and astonishing beautiful. We enjoyed the variety of dishes for breakfast and the opportunity to order a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Everything we tried there tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, our experience was positive and we would recommend it for couples.

Such a beautifully cared for, quiet and clean hotel. It has the classic Spanish look with tiles and warm decor inside, plus the room has all that we needed: spotless bathroom, amazing shower, outlets by the bed, a drinks cooler, plenty of closet space for 2, a comfy bed and a lovely balcony with a glimpse of the ocean! We appreciated the self-check-in process via Booking messages, allowing a flexible arrival time.

I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations.
I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations. I remember the town from 50 years ago so maybe I'm biased. It has managed to keep a certain amount of charm but in a way has grown too large for its own good. In my opinion there are too many souvenir shops and too many below standard restaurants/ bars. I had the feeling that I was a commodity - certainly not everywhere but enough too blunt the pleasure. The farmhouses that were onced dotted through the hills have been replaced by an urban sprawl & even the odd gated community. A pity - I leave with very mixed feelings

We decided to stay in the Calahonda area because it looked like a good central location to explore. We were pleased with our choice of location because it is central to visit other locations by car. There is an abundance of supermarkets; eateries and places of interest. We would definitely stay in Calahonda again.

For people who love the authentic Pueblo feel and walking to all the shops, you’ll want to stay forever
Everything! The apartment, views and the location were all fantastic. 4 minutes walk into Mijas pueblo with good transport links to the coast. Juan the owner is lovely, he personally shows you around upon arrival and is contactable throughout your stay. The apartment itself is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful with lots of sunbeds below lemon trees. We never saw more than 2 people there in mid July and had many days where we were the only ones which was lovely. We will return.
It was nice that the hotel was uphill, out of the city. So it was quiet and had great views over Fuengirola and the sea.
Mijas old town was very close, would recommend visiting. It is a very beautiful white city although a little more expensive.
The hotel offered good breakfast with a great variety, not too expensive (12euros per face). The coffee was not to my liking, tasted a bit like cocoa.
Other than that would recommend this hotel. Very beautiful and luxurious, great for couples.
We stayed at La Zambar for 3 nights and there are no words to describe our amazing staying there. It started before we arrived when I reached the hotel by email and requested their help with my planning to ask my girlfriend to marry me. Manuel, from LA Zambar stuff, helped me and made sure that the proposal will be unforgettable. And so it was.
EVERYTHING was AMAZING - the room, food, pool, and of course the view! saying that we were just speechless about the stuff and service.
Sharon was the perfect host - a quick explanation of everything and contactable but left us to it. The house itself is lovely and there are so many little touches everywhere that really add to the charm. The location is unbeatable in our opinion, right in the heart of nature but close (by car) to Mijas pueblo and Fuengirola. We met Kevin at the end of our stay who was very friendly too.
It's really a nice place! We enjoyed our stay (6 days) very much. We will come back for sure. We really recommend this place. Elena was very helpful and professional. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Nice view, nice pool, everything was close by like supermarkets, beach and so on. Central location, not far from Marbella, Fuengirola and Malaga. Top top top!!!
Very well situated for access to Mijas Pueblo and all it has to offer. Despite being so close to everything it was quiet. As we had a room on the upper floor we enjoyed being able to see the sea. The small fridge was a bonus with a mini bar- which we didn't use but we can see the benefits of this in the hotter weather.
Super cute and comfortable. The casita is well equipped and we were so happy about the BBQer. It’s a lovely, serene and peaceful place. Fantastic views and great location for day trips to Mijas and Fuengirola. Sharon and Kevin are very caring hosts and quick to respond.
Absolutely loved the stay at Sea to Sky Suites - Mijas Pueblo. Great host who was able to assist whenever needed. Great location. Would definitely use again. a message with all the key guidelines was sent ( where to get the keys, places to eat etc). loved it
Such a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Great location with lovely water views. Mijas Pueblo is not even a 5 min ride away and has a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. The owners, Bas and Deborah were very friendly and helpful.
Perfect location right in the centre of Mijas Pueblo, with absolutely everything thought of and provided. The host was super friendly and helpful and in contact throughout. It's a small apartment but it has all you need.
The villa exceeded our expectations. The reality looked better than on photos. The host was friendly and helpful. The area is peaceful, Mijas is a very nice village.
We will be back! :)
The view, the ambience, breakfast, but most of all the host. An was very hospitable and treated her guests like old friends. She mingled with us, offered help and tips to enjoy Mijas.
This was an amazing experience. We fell in love with the hotel and the city. Amazing staff, rooms, pool, food. Will definitely come back and strongly recommend
