We were only there for one night. I booked two beds, were given one, and was quickly resolved without question. We had a full view of the beach, were able to sleep w/ balcony door open. Room was clean, no "plush" upgraded amenities but all the basics were there and fine for this stay.
This charming, traditional-style hotel is located in the heart of the old town of Bellaguarda-Altea, just a 5-minute walk from the Costa Blanca seafront.

I appreciated getting the check-in information from the staff ahead of time; the information they provided was thorough, and they even told us where to park in town free of charge. I just loved the building and our room especially, particularly the little patio/roof deck that was part of our accommodations. Everything was really pretty!

Altea is a beautiful location with a classic white-washed mediterreanean "old town" and a lovely beach. It seems like a popular tourist destination, and restaurant and hotel staff are very helpful, friendly and gracious. Although many Spaniards eat dinner very late in the evening, I appreciated that Altea's restaurants are available to visitors seeking earlier meal times!

It's a nice town to visit if you are in Alicante and looking for a weekend break. The old town has character. Prices are more expensive than other places in Spain though and it seems to attract wealthier people. Avoid the over expensive restaurants near the top of the old town. Valor is a nice Spanish cafe for churros and coffee. Overall it's a nice spot.

Altea is a beautiful location rising above the coastline to the stunning Old Town. Plenty of restaurants to choose from both along the promenade and within the Old Town. Locals are very friendly and there is a reasonably good taxi service. Train runs from Denia to Benidorm at hourly intervals and is very reasonable.

Altea is absolutely stunning.
Altea is absolutely stunning. A lot of work has been done to support the seafront and they have done a magnificent job. The seafront is full of lovely bars and restaurants. The old town is whitewashed, rambling and vibrant. The shopping is great both mainstream and artisan. Altea is truly the jewel in the Costa Blanca’s crown.

Beautiful town, with whitewashed houses, winding streets to explore, lots of nice places to stop for drinks and food, artisan shops and a lovely sea side esplanade to stroll along with more nice eating places. Easy access to public transport to go further afield if you want a change.

Great place and now the Promenade has been totally renewed it is wonderful and lovely for walking on.
Has a great church and so picturesque and well worth the walk up to it with all the quaint streets of the Old Town.
Brilliant cafes and Bars and a very good choice and all tastes carered for.
Fantastic location on the beach and yet in central Altea close to supermarket and the old town. Amazing views and sun-rise. The flat is very comfortable, superclean and well equipped with everything you need, including all cleaning materials. The welcome pack with snacks and drinks was much appreciated. Paul and Veronica were always helpful and gave us vouchers for a delicious brunch at Caprichos. It was also great to have private secure parking - approx 5 minutes walk - in such a central area.
Although it's a private home, there's privacy between the guest and visitor. We had our own toilet with towels (that smelled so good!), shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, etc. In the room, there's portable air-con, coffee maker, fridge, iron, TV, ceiling fan, etc. The room is well-ventilated and well-lit. The area is quiet but not that far from the beach. The owner, Pilar, responded to my questions even before we arrived Altea. She even offered to fetch us at the bus station.
Friendly and really helpful staff. A request made beforehand was gladly met and free parking onsite.
The room with a seaview balcony was just lovely and the hotel's a short drive away from the 'town centre'. The breakfast in the morning had great option for all requirements. Overall, the other facilities seemed really good, unfortunately the weather was not on my side and was only there for one night so couldn't really utilise them. Gracias Hotel Cap Negret!
We were enjoying every moment of our stay in Mascarat Suite. Apartment is so stylish, all the details are well-considered, everything is very comfortable and the views are incredible. Rooftop terrace - cute place to soak in the sun 🙂 Special thanks to Natalia! We already think about coming back to El amante suites Altea.
What a great apartment! We were so lucky to find it. The host Nela, is so helpful and kind, and the apartment itself is clean, spacious and well equipped and well placed for both the beach and the old town of Altea. We were only there for a night (family wedding) but wished we were staying longer - We aim to return!
The location is incredible. I almost booked something closer to the water, but I'm so glad I stay near the charming old town. Just 3 minutes walk to the beautiful church and shops, many restaurants to choose from as well. The apartment was comfortable and perfect for our family.
Checking in was simple and easy.

The location is good for the old town of Altea and the beach is walking distance. The area is hilly but that's part of the charm. Good places to eat nearby and carpark at the end of the road. Nice apartment in a great location, good views.
Everything was perfect, from the checking in process, to the room itself and the facilities in the room and in the hotel itself.
The staff were very friendly and informative and provided a fanbtastic service throughout our stay.
Great apartment, well situated right in the center of the old town, and later we found out, in the best street of Altea! Amazing views, well equipped, with some welcome items as well. Staff was very attentive too.
Lovely boutique hotel, very clean and in an excellent position near to the old town. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thank you.
Great location by the beach + gorgeous balcony area out front of the hotel where you can sit+ watch the world go by! Altea is a lovely chilled town if you want a relaxing holiday.
Superb terrace to enjoy the Altea’s good weather, very close to the beach side promenade and shops area. Parking was very useful as not easy to park in Altea.
