Excellent location in Salamanca. Very centrally located and 10 min walk away from all of the major tourist sites and shopping areas. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel welcomed. Accommodations are simple but very clean. The wifi works well throughout the hotel. Definitely a value for the price.

I compare Salamanca to Oxford steeped in history very afluent beatiful. The culture is centered around the student population with dozens of bars and restaurants. ( not rowdy). Architecture is magnificent so much to see 1 day is not enough.
It is more expensive than anywhere else I have visited in Spain.

Great architecture and friendly atmosphere.
Great architecture and friendly atmosphere. Plenty of bars and restaurants.
It would have been very helpful if menus could have been in English for us as many times we didn’t buy because we didn’t know what we were ordering and the translate app wasn’t good enough at times. Made food ordering laborious and way to difficult at times.

Salamanca is a lovely city and definitely worth a visit.
Salamanca is a lovely city and definitely worth a visit. We stayed 3 night and were able to see everything we wanted without rushing.
It is a walkable city. We came by train and left by bus. We used the local bus only once, and that was to get to our apartment.
We were there during Easter weekend, so reservations are important. Great restaurants and food.
The hotel room was very spacious, large and spotlessly clean, it smelled fresh when we entered. The staff were helpful. The location of the hotel is not exactly in the centre, but you can reach the Roman Bridge on foot in 5-10 minutes depending on your walking speed. You can park for free on the streets around the hotel, which is a great advantage. It is a hotel we will come again when we come to Salamanca again. There are both Lidl and Mercadona just one street parallel to the hotel, this is also an advantage if you need something.
Fabulous hotel and restaurant. Central location, so easy to access the centre. Exceptional service, the man around reception (with white plimsolls) in particular was good. He parked our car and charged it for us in a breath! We had a meal in restaurant which was one of the best we had in all the hotels we stayed on our tour around Spain. Photo is view from our room. Whilst close to everything, was very soundproofed/quiet.
We drove from Madrid where we stayed in a very upmarket 5 star hotel. We expected an average stay at Hotel Rector. From our arrival to our departure we had impeccable service and personalised attention to detail. The hotel is extremely clean and you get the impression that the entire staff takes pride in what they do. The breakfast was perfectly cooked.
The love how helpful the front desk personal treated us. The location was perfect for walking to all the destinations we wanted to see. Parked our car in the Hotels garage and that was a BIG plus. I love the town of Salamanca and plan to visit again and stay at that same location! Thank you to all the staff for you treated us, you were very helpful!
The room was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed the large tub and ample water pressure. We parked immediately outside the hotel in the safe neighborhood. The Roman bridge is less than a block from the hotel, so you are close to the old city and Salamanca's best sights, yet away from the craziness. We would stay here again.
There was a good selection of breakfasts on the menu which were generously portioned. The staff were absolutely lovely. I’m really into contemporary are so I loved the design and look of the hotel. We only had a short walk to all the best bits of beautiful Salamanca. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
It's so nice location.
You can go to Plaza Mayor from the entrance of the hotel in just 1 or 2 minutes.
So we could walk around Central of Salamanca in the night. That's so fun.
The room is not special.
But we could spend in the room comfortably.
You step outside and you’re in the beautiful Salamanca university, the bed and room were comfortable and big. It had cable tv if you wanted. There is a cafe downstairs for coffee, food beer etc. Digital check in was easy, no waiting.

We were travelling around Spain and booked a few nights here to see Salamanca hotel has parking and you can walk into the centre of Salamanca in 20 min straight along the road no hills excellent location
I liked staying in the historic property in one of my favorite places in Spain, Salamanca. We could walk to everything we wanted to see, including the Plaza Mayor and the University and cathedral.
The decor was really pretty and each room was different. Great tile in the baths. The shower had great pressure, best we've had in Spain. Location near everything we wanted to visit.
Good Breakfast options (Self-service and price not included)
Very quiet place
Parking available at no additional cost
