Excellent all round. Pool was excellent and gin and tonic poolside was a memorable moment. Room super comfy- bed shower etc all excellent. Staff were very accommodating and excellent at English. Breakfast- tres bonne. The restaurant was also top notch with a large selection of wines to choose from and knowledgeable staff.

Rural, close to the cycling route, very friendly and generous hosts. A sweet little sunset terrace and a lovely sunrise breakfast room. We enjoyed the homemade preserves.

The lovely decor and rooms were clean, bright and welcoming! The bathroom modern and clean! The hosts were so welcoming and so gracious - quick to help with suggestions for touring the area ! They truly set one if the nicest breakfast- lovely selection of crepes, meats, bread and fruit! This hotel has been by far my favorite so far. The rooms: incredibly clean, comfortable, luxury linen. The bathroom super complete and spacious. The building charming and “modernized” in a fancy way given the age of it. The area silent and with breathtaking views FROM YOUR BED! The staff always available when needed. Breakfast insane given the cook is a chocolatier herself and had a bakery in the past. She hands picked all fruit and veggies. I will be back.

After two years of continuous travel, I can say without hesitation that Maison au Coin is the best B&B of my current sojourn, and now thinking about it, it is perhaps the best B&B I have ever visited! What makes Maison au Coin so special: 1. The hosts, Helen and Steve are exceptionally nice, and Helen’s previous experience in hospitality is evident in the quality of the accommodation and the delightful breakfast every morning, including delicious homemade preserves. 2. The room suite was large with a full closet and drawers to spare. The bathroom featured both a separate tub and shower with luxuries bath amenities. 3. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on in ages. 4. The location is within a ten-minute drive of the village of Saint Émilion. 5. Maison au Coin is located on the Dordogne River where it is possible to go on a leisurely stroll along the river. 6. There is free parking adjacent to the Maison au Coin In summary, if you are planning on visiting Saint Émilion, I cannot think of a better way to get your visit off to a great start than staying with Helen and Steve at Maison au Coin
