Lourdes is a very special place. For those visiting for religious reasons, it will prove to be the ideal retreat. My favourite place was visiting the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration Place, it gave me peace of mind and tranquillity; I also visited the Grotto everyday of the trip. There was toilet everywhere and water to drink - excellent. There was so much support for those less able to move around independently and priority was given to them as well which I thought was lovely. My hotel provided excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner all of which were splendid; however, I noticed that there was food to eat everywhere. It was easy to get around Lourdes and the information office provided support when I needed it.
