Super people, so friendly and more helpful than I ever imagined. Incredibly accommodating in parking, check in time and in working with our very little French, absent German (two languages host speaks). Comprehension of English is way better than she gives herself credit for. Breakfast was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, croissants, bread, butter, jam, juice, even cereal and milk, delivered in beautiful presentation right at the agreed upon time. Very knowledgeable about the area, freely gave advice that you could tell was from the heart. The apartment was in the hosts' home, but was very large compared to others we have stayed in. Tasteful, thoughtful decorations, power for rechargables was easily available throughout. Kitchen was basic, provided for simple needs well. Location was convenient to coast and to Route des Abbayes. Idyllic garden out back. I wished we were staying longer so we could chat more about the area, France, her family, her experiences. Thank you, kind souls, for opening your home to our family.

Great location, clean and spacious room. Older hotel that they've done some upgrades in. Receptionists were helpful but just didn't get the same warmth that we had from other accommodation hosts. We're able to provide bike storage and plenty of parking.

Lovely surroundings by a huge French house. Owner very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast good with plenty of choices. Would definitely return. My partner was particularly taken with Sebastian.

    hotel with the location, room looks and room size of a French formula hotel like ETAP OR IBIS but with better breakfast and better beds. this is a place you stay at on the way, not where you stay for pleasure. breakfast quite decent. staff all very friendly and effective.

    The breakfast was excellent, the hotel was very clean,the beds were very comfortable and the evening dinner was first class as was the service. The rooms were rather small but there. Was nothing they could have done about that . A most enjoyable stay

    Hotel equates to a Travel Lodge in the UK. Rooms were small but adequate. Bed was very comfortable. Food in the evening was good and breakfast was adequate. Ideal for stopping off on the way south or north.
