TLH Victoria Hotel - TLH Leisure, Entertainment and Spa Resort, hotel in Torquay

Just 3 minutes’ walk from Torquay seafront, the Victoria Hotel offers fine period features and extensive leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, a luxury spa, leisure complex and gym.

The facilities are fabulous, huge comlex so enough room to accommodate a variety of ages. All staff are so efficient at their jobs, therefore, everything runs smoothly. We stayed in an apartment, which really helped make our stay cheap with buying food in and tea and coffee. I know the restaurant food is amazing though as we have stayed before. Location is perfect, quiet, but also convenient to the front where there are plenty more bars and restaurants.

    Torquay is a faded gem.

Torquay is a faded gem. Sadly the area lost the many well-paid jobs in technology which, coupled with the loss of domestic holidays to the mediterranean resorts, cost it dear. The area is now run-down, but there are many attractions still available. It's well worth a visit (I would say that, I lived there for ten years and enjoyed it greatly), as it's a unique corner of the UK!

My mum and I came to visit for a mini break this weekend, we like to come & visit if we can every year. Trecarn hotel is not far to visit neighbouring areas such as Torquay, mead foot beach and Paignton, the hotel rooms are basic but have everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep, the bath & shower was brilliant, our room was nice & clean and hotel staff were all lovely, thank you 😊 We had a lovely time Elizabeth & Tricia Mitchell

If you like drinking and being a general yahoo in the streets then Torquay would be the ideal location for you. Definitely don’t recommend driving your car, as you’ll need to walk miles to get to it. Overrated, with no class to it at all.

Torquay is a lovely English seaside town, has lots of links to Agatha Christie and some great local restaurants and bars. Lots of things to do only down side is at the moment the town is under going many road works in and out so getting about can be a bit slow by car/taxi. its also very hilly so walking can be difficult if in anyway unabled.

Been to Torquay regularly down the years, but we missed last year due to other commitments. Couldn't believe the change. What has happened to the town? It is a dishevelled, shabby place. Now full of beggars, roadworks, and boarded up shops. Thoroughly depressing and I'm so sad to say that I will not be returning. It is a ghost of what it once was, the jewel in Torbay. Couldn't wait to leave..

The hotel is located within a stone's throw of Torquay harbour. Ganesh (the manager) runs a good business, and is helpful, friendly and welcoming. Hudson's is well-maintained and clean. It's not a swish, modern hotel, but we found it comfortable, indeed we slept very well indeed. Although it's on a main road into town, we didn't find noise a problem. There's a couple of very good restaurants nearby. We liked this hotel a great deal!

The Villa Marina was in a very good location and nice walk into Torquay. On arrival we were welcomed by the lovely Erwan who provided us towels as we where a little wet from the rain. Checked us in and gave us a map on various places to visit. Loved the personalised touches in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious. Vincent and Erwan are so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. We wanted somewhere to stay for our daughter's wedding based at the Imperial Hotel in Torquay. We came across Palm Grove Apartments and struck gold! We had 3 apartments, one was a 2 bedroom, and all of them were to a very high standard and prefect for our needs. The hosts could not have done more, very friendly and great communication. The property is exactly what you expect from an old fashioned hotel in Torquay, it got character and it’s in the best location, it was basic but it was cheap and clean. There’s nothing wrong with it at all. It’s a bit dated but that adds to the charm of the place in my eyes. We had an amazing anniversary weekend here and would definitely go again
