The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Nice touch was an iron and a hairdryer.
It is walking distance to the airport but the bus stops conveniently right outside which drops you off at the terminal. The bedroom was triple glazed which kept the outside noise to a minimum.

Stunning building and location. So relaxing.
The dining room was beautiful, the tables laid out beautifully for breakfast and the buffet breakfast was fabulous. Just the right amount of choice with exceptional quality pastries and cooked breakfast selections. Real fruit juices. All the small details which make everything so much better overall. The staff were very friendly and professional. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms. The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. High quality bedding. The shower was great. If I had to pick at anything it would be the dark gloomy furniture in the room. It would of lifted the room with some nice cottage type furniture.

Hotel is jaded and could do with a makeover. That said it suited our needs, was reasonably priced, attentive staff and good breakfast.

Warm, clean and comfortable but breakfast was very very basic and diy. I felt that value for money was not good. We had a change of circumstances which ment we could not travel on the Friday(booked Friday and Saturday night) but had contacted them and asked if we could change the dates to the Saturday and Sunday night instead. They said no that they were not going to do that that booking would not allow it so we had to just turn up on the Saturday having paid for the Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile we made another booking for the Sunday night and guess what happened… they gave us the same room we had been in!

Interesting place with range of ages of buildings.
Interesting place with range of ages of buildings. Lots of food outlets, looked good. Manor Hotel very faded glory: avoid.
Bus to Nottingham or Derby runs all night because of the airport. We went bus pass to Nottingham, very well worth a visit. An attractive town that could do with a good clean.
Best fabric shop my wife has seen in this country. Rolls of high quality end of line from local mills for sod-all! We brought back 2, but will be going again no doubt.
Very close to M1 and A50 so very easy to get to.

Time has caught up with the hotel since the advert was written. Sadly, my room was no longer 'bright and modern' and the shower definitely wan't a 'power shower'.
The thermostat wasn't there. The room was cold.
The TV remote had two parts mission.
The carpet was 'suspect'.
No hand soap. When asked, the hotel had "run out".
Tea and coffee was provided, but no milk. I had to go back to ask for some.
IKEA coffee mug still had a dirty sticker on the bottom.
Bathroom was.... not perfect.

The hotel is only a short walk to the airport which makes it ideal.
We have stayed a number of times, normally we book in for a night before we travel and the car is parked for the duration of our trip, this is normally booked through Holiday Extras but I omitted to to book for our return night therefore did this through Booking.com. Only disappointment with this was I had to pay an extra £5 for parking that night of our stay.

Great location to our final destination, reasonable price for what you get but carpet made the room so much older than it could’ve been. Really friendly welcoming receptionists both on arrival and exit!

We stayed at this hotel en route to the Alton Towers. The beds were comfortable and clean.
The restaurant was very accomodating for the evening meal and the staff was brilliant.
Leisure centre was good, we enjoyed the swim with our kids and sauna/steam room facilities also. Jacuzzi was a bonus, really.
The room was quiet and we had a good sleep.
Parking space close by.
Room was stunning, spacious and had mini fridge and smart TV allowing you to cast from your own device. Pool and spa was lovely and breakfast was best hotel buffet breakfast we've had and we stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year. Scrambled eggs actually cooked with butter! Fried slice, herby tomatoes, black pudding...very wide selection of breakfast options.
It was immaculate the location was excellent whether walking or driving All facilities were available
It was also spacious particularly downstairs dining lounge and kitchen
It was excellent value for money it worked out at less than half the cost of a hotel room per night
We would highly recommend the Donington Cottages
Excellent location for the airport and if we had known would have left the car at the hotel whilst away as it worked out cheaper than airport parking. Lots of parking spaces and seemed very secure and safe. A nice touch was at reception they offered free soft drinks and fresh fruit which was a lovely touch.
Great location, close to Donington Park circuit. Clean, tidy, self check in hotel, they send you the door codes on the day. Limited on site parking but the pub a few doors down allows parking and has great beer! I liked the fully equipped kitchen facility. Very good Chinese takeaway just round the corner too.
The whole hotel looked new/refurbished. Room was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped, and full with food. They even kept alternative milk, which we use normally. It had a coffee machine, with different pods as well and fruits, breads, joghurts jams eggs etc
Really loved our stay
Room was clean, had a loveseat sized sofa. Very quiet considering how close to the airport it is. However, I could hear the people in the next room. Close proximity to Donington Park and, as I was there for the races, made it OK.
The hotelier was very accommodating. We were only there for one night, and only for a short time due to bring at a wedding all day and evening. However there was no mad rush for us to leave early the next morning.
Great location for Donington Park circuit, in the centre of Castle Donington. Free parking in the large car park in front. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Large room with garden view. Excellent breakfast.
Staff were super friendly especially night reception guy.
Good location for airport.
lots of Parking available for car parking.
Great stay overall only a few minor improvements below..................
Nicely decorated property in a nice setting walking distance from the shops & restaurants in Castle Donington. Very comfortable beds, beautiful outside space & garden. Highly recommended
The lady on reception was very friendly and accommodating, always had a smile on her face.
I was 15 mins or so from east midlands airport was a perfect place for a nap.
