Located in Kegworth, Pleasant House provides accommodation with free WiFi, seating area and flat-screen TV. A Full English/Irish breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. Karina and Graham are the perfect hosts and exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Pleasant House to any other guests.
The Wood Loft, Kegworth is situated in Kegworth. The property features garden views and is 20 km from Derby. Stayed one night on New Years Eve. The apartment was immaculate. Furnished beautifully, so cosy and comfortable. Good kitchen equipment provided, would need afew more things for a longer stay. Visited a few local pubs for drinks which were pleasant. Lots of takeaways and a co-op in walking distance. Hosts were so attentive and sent us lots of information before hand and checked up on us via email during our stay! Overall lovely stay will definitely be back!!!
The Little Apartment, Kegworth is set in Kegworth and offers a fitness centre. The accommodation is 20 km from Derby. Very clean, comfy and cozy place. Well equipped kitchen. Nice bedroom. Good quality towels and bedding. Everything you need for a self catering stay, but in a homely style. Everywhere really clean. The management app was a useful addition for easy communications.
Just minutes from the M1 Highway and 3 km from East Midlands Airport and Castle Donington, this Best Western Premier EMA Yew Lodge Hotel offers an onsite health club and spa. Convenient and dog friendly . A functional hotel a bit of an anonymous atmosphere very business like. We booked a standard room which which clean and pleasant though slightly dated. Nice selection of toiletries and biscuits water etc which was good for a budget room. Breakfast though a buffet was very nice with attentive staff. Nice continental choice with everything you would expect including warm pastries and home made granola.

A comfortable, homely guest house just a few minutes walk to a lovely homely restaurant. Kegworth is so conveniently close to East Midlands airport. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family !
We were here for racing at Donington circuit, so venue was perfect. It is close to East Midlands Airport which means that there are low-flying planes at regular intervals and this may not be to everyone's taste. There are a few restaurants in the village and more just a short drive away. We only went for the racing so can't comment about any other local attractions.
Apart from the overall experience at the Kegworth which was excellent , we did venture out into the village and all the locals were so friendly in the local public houses and great food and service in the local Indian restaurant.
The reception is part of the bar, so it was unfortunate that we arrived seconds behind a 72 seater coach full of pensioners from Cheshire who were all gagging for a drink. I waited for 15 minutes to be checked in by someone who appeared to believe that I was a bit of an inconvenience when they were rather busy ACTUALLY. In the room, the kettle didn’t work unless you held the switch down, the fan didn’t work at all (it was a warm night), neither of the bedside lamps worked and the food was overpriced, so we went elsewhere for dinner because we have a policy that if staff can’t be bothered to give us good service, we can’t be bothered to spend more money in the hotel. It was only made acceptable because we were leaving at 4.00 am and we didn’t have to join an interminable queue for dinner or breakfast with the aforementioned coach party. I saw some pretty critical reviews, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. On this occasion, it was misplaced
Kegworth is a dormitory town, with little character or facilities. It is very close to East Midlands airport but that's about it. The Coop is usually quite well stocked and Oaklands is a nice bakery/deli/butchers. I only stay in Kegworth as I am attending an event there, otherwise I would avoid it at all costs
