Absolutely beautiful place to stay! So peaceful and relaxing! Really enjoyed the bottle of fresh apple juice when we arrived. Everything was clean and the hosts were fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something private and secluded but also close enough for all amenities. We don't drive and had no trouble getting around so if you don't drive, Don't let that put you off! There's a local bus stop near by and we also used castle cars for getting around. Plenty of wildlife around and we even had visits from the hosts chickens! Which we really enjoyed! (They are well behaved and not a bother). Hot tub is very easy to use, Hosts have a helpful information folder to hand. Don't hesitate, You won't regret it. Thank you so much to the hosts for sharing their space with the rest of us! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bell nook & look forward to returning in the future.

The pod was immaculate, modern, comfortable and contained everything you would expect to find in a studio flat! Outside there is also a good size decking area + a fire pit and stone/brick bbq. Nick has really thought of everything. Nick also provides breakfast items in the fridge and a hamper so you can chose to have a cooked or continental breakfast yourself on your own time.

    The castle is interesting and the playing fields, pedestrian walks by the river and the woodland with it's lakes are all close to the centre and are very pleasant. They have free Friday night music performances by the river in the summer and they are very popular and well done.

    It was a business trip so not much time for sight seeing, but on the basis of myu two short trips into the town centre it seemed (historically) very interesting and there were plenty of place to eat, drink and shop.

    I've been to Tonbridge a few times over the years.

    I've been to Tonbridge a few times over the years. It is a lovely little town with great amenities and is very close to some really beautiful green spaces and castles. Hever Castle is a must visit around 15 minutes away as well as Hayden Country park.

    Tonbridge area is well placed for visiting many attractions of Kent. We were staying in self catering outside Tonbridge town and only briefly went into town to be honest so can't tell you much about that. Had a walk round castle grounds. It did have supermarkets so we were able to stock up.

    Tonbridge has been a market town since the Middle Ages with...

    Tonbridge has been a market town since the Middle Ages with its own Castle by the River Medway. All services in the High Street. Lots of parking, free after 6pm. Ightham Mote, Knowle house, Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle, & Rudyard Kipling's Bateman's were all delightful National Trust properties nearby. We had a super meal at Havet, a Turkish Restaurant which provided me, unasked, with a doggy bag when I could only manage half my meal.

    Excellent little place.

    Excellent little place. Very busy during the day but not overly busy. There was plenty of places to eat and shops plus you never had to wait long for a bus as long as you knew where you wanted to go. The only negative was the taxis at the train station the drivers were most unpleasant but there is another taxi service there and the drivers were brilliant took you to your door and made sure you got in ok although sometimes you had to wait a bit id rather wait and use a good service like that.

    I can’t express enough how amazing this stay was, The cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Nick is the nicest host you will ever meet, he will do anything to make your stay better. Please don’t hesitate to book this! We had bad weather on the Saturday of our stay so we got a taxi into Tunbridge Wells which was also lovely, Nick was great at recommending places.
