This place is a hidden gem. The grounds of the property are charming and well maintained. The main house is cozy and yet elegant at the same time. There were only a couple other people staying there at the time so we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. We booked a triple room but when we checked in the owners ended up giving us an extra room that was right by the other one. We didn’t eat dinner but did have dessert and breakfast which were amazing. Highly recommend you go just for the food. We told them how much we loved the homemade shortbread cookies and Fiona the owner gave us some extra ones to take when we checked out. I can’t recommend this place enough and wish I had spent more time there.

My family absolutely loved this property. I addition to the breathtaking views, we were also treated to a sunny, warm day where we sat on the patio and just soaked in the beauty of Ballymena. Our accommodations were perfect and was full of little touches like tea in the cupboard and toiletries in the bathroom. John & Jacqui we’re also on site and were very warm and friendly. We could have stayed forever!

Cozy country cottage. Immaculate. Welcoming treats like a loaf of bread ready to cut with fridge stocked with cheese, butter, jam and milk. Lovely fireplace and wood was provided. House was cheerfully decorated for Christmas. Jacqui was a super host, responding quickly to any questions and also accommodated us generously allowing for an early check in after we’d arrived from a red eye flight into Dublin and two hour car ride, so we were able to settle in and have a rest. Highly recommend.

The village of Broughshane is close to the house and has a Spar, although that does not sell any alcohol. There are 2 fish and chip shops and a pub that we ate in once which was nice. Ballymena has the big supermarkets if you need more than the Spar has to offer. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, everywhere we went was very clean, no litter and people were all friendly. Not far in a car to the coastal road which is a great drive, some lovely beaches and the Giant's Causeway.
We all thought that we will think about going back again as it was so good.
Good variety for breakfast. Brad is an excellent host. Location is very good ....... 3 minutes to the town centre ....... Ballymena is a very good shopping town .... 5 minutes to the train station....... trains go to the North Coast every hour (45 minutes) and to Belfast every hour (45 minutes). Ballymena has a Leisure Centre and a nice park with tennis courts. Very good value especially for the solo traveller. Hotel Accommodation in Ballymena is very expensive....... you will save a lot of money staying in Brad's Pad.
Our stay at Ronda was a very pleasant experience. Desmond met us when we arrived and was extremely friendly and chatty, he showed us around the house which was really clean and cosy. Our bedroom was beautiful with comfy beds and the breakfast was something you would see in a 5 star hotel as there was so much to choose from. We would highly recommend anyone who were thinking of booking this lovely air b&b as you'll not be disappointed.
We stayed in the cottage for 4 nights at the beginning of August. The house was great, had plenty of space and was very clean. Alan was a great host and gave us tourist information and a wonderful “welcome” basket with all sorts of goodies! The location is ideal for visiting Northern Ireland and we loved the silence and being surrounded by nature! I would definitely recommend Alan and the cottage!!
Ann was a lovely lady , had a welcome.cake bottle of wine and Easter eggs along with tea coffee and milk for us on arrival. Location perfect gave easy access to family in Ballymena.
House supplies all that could be required, hairdryers towels, iron etc. Driveway with plenty of room for a couple of cars. Heating was on when we arrived. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
This hostess was outstanding. We really enjoyed chatting with her. The room was perfectly clean and the breakfast was delicious. There is a Forest Park across the street and the River Bann cuts across the town. The restaurant/pub (The Wild Duck Inn) was fabulous. The property is just west of Ballymena, proper, in Portglenone.
The bedrooms were clean. We met family in the bar area on the evening of our stay and the bar staff were excellent in looking after us. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast the following morning was good. The location of the hotel is central making it easy to walk around Ballymena town.
Service, food and customer services were brilliant. Extremely friendly and as we were leaving early before breakfast a packed lunch was made for us. Definitely value for money and would return on next trip only a few minutes out of ballymena. Nice quite area to relax
The hotel was very quite and relaxing. The facilities are well maintain and clean. The staff were very good and helpful. WiFi was free and easily accessed. The breakfast was top notch, self-service with many options both hot and cold. Plenty of parking available.
The warm welcome. The staff so helpful. Spotless hotel and food in the restaurant was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and parking wasn’t a problem. The staff couldn’t do enough for you so helpful and kind
The host Helen was absolutely amazing. She made us feel right at home. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing every morning! Helen was the sweetest women. Honestly our best stay in all of Ireland.
Both the hotel and the bedroom were clean and spacious and there was a lovely terrace area outside for drinks. Covid restrictions were still in place so it was a little hard to fully judge the hotel at its best.
We got married at Galgorm Hotel and Spa in October 2020 and they went above and beyond then. For our first anniversary we have already planned to go back and we treated like royalty.
Very nice area, property was much nicer than the pictures online. Staff were so accommodating, friendly, and professional we wished we would have booked a longer stay.
From Neil, the Hotel Manager, to Joe the Barman and Morgan in the restaurant team, all were exceptional in the freindlyness and could not not do enough !!
