We stayed in the cottage and it was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Tea, coffee and milk were all provided and housekeeping attended daily.
The breakfasts were scrumptious as were the other meals we took in the restaurant.
The staff were so obliging and extremely helpful. The breakfast manager even gave us tips on where to go and places to see

Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do.
Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do. The cathederal is wonderful as is the canal boat trip. If you like food then there's lots of restaurants here. We visited 4 and they were all good especially Purchases on North Street which was exceptional. There is also a lovely walk around the city on the historical city wall pathway.

We only had a very short trip and could have stayed much longer and done so much more, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did do though. The Bishops Palace garden is beautiful and well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Fishbourne Roman Palace, which is really interesting and has some beautiful gardens and mosaics. Sadly it rained a lot and we couldn't do some of the things we had planned, maybe next time. We visited Tinwood vineyard on our way home and had a delicious lunch and bought some lovely sparkling wine to take home.

Where do I start! The room was beautiful and excellent value for money. The views and location truly amazing! I have stayed here before but only seem to be able to manage night at a time as I am always travelling. Would love to spend a week here!
If you have the time and it is running take the boat and go seal watching!

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.

Our first visit to Chichester, to meet up with relatives who live locally, we had limited time to explore the town. We wandered around, walked on the old city walls, visited an interesting museum with a temporary display of Star Wars toys and of course visited the Cathedral. Chichester has largely retained the old type of 'proper' town centre with individual local shops in addition to the larger chains which makes it more interesting to walk around.

The city centre is very compact with the main shopping areas, bars and restaurants close to the cathedral and within the city walls.
Would recommend the 2.2 mile walk around the old city walls from where you can stop off and enjoy Priory Park and The Bishops Garden.
Pleanty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Barn in Little London which is great for coffee and delicious pastries and the food and cocktails at Purchases were fantastic. Lemongrass Thai restaurant in St Pancras was also very good.
An informative and enjoyable guided walk can be booked from the Novium Museum.
The hotel is on a great location for shopping in Chichester and the Theatre. The staff were really lovely, although, like evrywhere else at the moent, they were short staffed. Having said that, they were very lovely and doing their very best in difficult times. Plus some of them were very new to their jobs - been there a matter of weeks - but really trying hard to make a success of the venue.
Was expecting a proper Breakfast to be honest but it was just cereals and fruit etc. If you wanted a full English or eggs, you need to go to shop to buy these. Location was a mile walk from Chichester town centre. Good area and parking is outside. Just need to give car registration to the owner to cover permit. Owner was welcoming and showed us around the B&B.
The room was great. Big, clean and very comfortable. It had all we needed. The location was perfect and made it easy for us to walk into Chichester centre in the evening for dinner. We pre-ordered breakfast via the little note left in our room and breakfast was ready for us at 0800 as requested. Breakfast was very good and our selections were acted upon.
The location of the property on the high street was great for a base for exploring the town centre. Whilst the hotel doesn’t have parking there was a public car park just 5 mins walk away which was reasonably priced and always plenty of space to park.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was good, and the location is excellent if you want to see the Roman Palace excavated very close by. The room was quiet, as it did not face the busy road that runs by the pub. The staff were helpful, and there is good bus service, about every 20 minutes, in to Chichester, where parking can be a challenge.
The staff were amazing and welcoming. The hotel was so clean and lovely. There is noise until 2pm on a sat but they give you ear plugs. This is the prefect place to stay of you want some where nice and to have a evening in Chichester. The breakfast included in the morning is delicious. Well done guys 😊
The hotel, in a central but peaceful location, is in a beautiful, listed building, which has been sensitively and beautifully renovated. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal and had a super first but not last visit to Chichester.
Unsmiling Receptionist on arrival did not help the impersonal feel of the hotel. However, all we needed for sightseeing in Chichester with free parking and bus outside door. Restaurant on site, independently run, had cheerful, efficient service.
good value for money and more space than available in a family hotel room. centrally located for visiting Chichester Goodwood and nearby coastline. Book ahead for Sunday lunch at the Crate and Apple a short drive away in Chichester
Ideal location, room was nice and warm on such a cold day. Was nice to stay right an excellent pub. Pub was fantastic, great choice of beers. Will definitely stay here again if I am seeing anything at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
Very comfortable hotel close to the town centre. The room was a good size with a roll top bath and a wet room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with good quality coffee and artisan bread. Plenty of choice.
The apartment was very spacious with a large living area and bedroom. It was modern, good shower and it had everything you needed. It was a short taxi ride to Chichester town centre. There was an Aldi nearby (walkable).
