Had a lovely stay after attending a wedding. The hosts were lovely and allowed me to check in early and even gave me a lift to the wedding. They offered me a lift home from the wedding which I did not require but I thought that was very generous. Room was lovely and very spacious and I had the bathroom to myself. I was also cooked a lovely breakfast in the morning.

After 30 years of holidays in Scotland, this was definitely the best experience we have ever had! The rooms were so tastefully and colourfully decorated, very very comfortable. As was the whole house. Spotlessly clean! The breakfast was made to order, perfect care was taken of the dietary needs of one of our group. Amanda and her husband are both perfect hosts, friendly, very welcoming and helpful! We would love to come back!

Loved the quirkiness of the cottage and the thoughtfulness of the owner- they provided everything we could need and beyond. The garden is amazing and totally enclosed. Beds were comfy and the area and neighbours beautiful.

    Crieff is a perfect base for getting out and about to...

    Crieff is a perfect base for getting out and about to surrounding places of interest. Definitely need a car to travel. The high street pavements are really in need of repairs so we had to be vigilant when walking through town. Not great for people with walking disabilities. Very hilly too.The Ghurcah Indian restaurant was excellent ,,value for money with huge portions that we had to take with us. Quality was amazing.

    Fabulous walks along the river Earn, abundant wildlife, including a kingfisher! The town parks are pretty and there are good views of the surrounding hills/mountains. An amazing icecream parlour with 46 flavours to choose from is not to be missed. We had great meal at the Gurkhas restaurant, but it was pre-booked, and we have found it generally very difficult to find restaurant food after 8pm. There are several interesting places to visit nearby, but regrettably Crieff itself has a slightly dingy appearance, rather tired looking with several closing or closed already shops.

    The Hotel and room were both excellent.

    The Hotel and room were both excellent. The food was delicious. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. Scenery was breathtaking Good value for money. The weather was terrific which was an added bonus

    this is not a property issue but we warned if you park in...

    this is not a property issue but we warned if you park in the town centre be wary, the sign on the notice board states free parking for 3 hours but when I returned after an hour I had a parking ticket for £100. I have never came across this before but even though it is free parking you still have to display a ticket

    Plenty of varied shops to visit. Friendly people. Quite near lots of touristy places. We loved Gurkas the portions are huge. But only one standard kebab/pizza/burger place. Lots of choice in Crieff Co, Deli. Petrol reasonable. Lovely park and riverside walk. It can be a bit hilly in places. Pay to park on the high street.

    Creiff itself is a country town , a little old fashioned, but with the usual shops , everything you need for day to day. Several resonablt priced places to eat, very good fresh produce shop and ice cream/ sweetie shop. Best bits are outside the town, visitors centre, Caithness glass factory where you can view the workers producing the beautiful products, Stuart crystal, and the gorgeous Nutcracker Christmas shop, which is worth the trip on its own.Many other places worth a visit within half an hour. Wildlife Park, Stirling Castle, Bannockburn, Doune castle and Dunblane Cathedral.

    Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfy and the whole hotel had a really nice and cosy vibe to it. The food and service was absolutely exceptional and genuinely one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The breakfast was also amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay around Perthshire and we will definitely be returning.

    Good sized car park, staff were nice, evening meal was really good, can use facilities at Crieff Hydro, shower over bath, windows open to let in fresh air, plenty hot water from shower, lots of furniture in the room - can make yourself at home, iron and ironing board, coffee machine, kettle and fridge all in room, huge bed, got a good nights sleep

    The hosts are so helpful and very friendly but not invasive. The house is charming and the decor, furnishings and fittings are of a very high standard. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and will use again if in the area. Better than a hotel for sure.

    We were visiting at show Strathearn arts and decided to stay the night. The hotel is ideally situated and provided a good based to explore Crieff. The Gastro pub provided decent food in a relaxed atmosphere.
