The room was very nice and spotlessly clean, we had everything we needed and it was only a 5 minute walk away from the port and the cafés and shops. Stavroula the owner was very kind and helpful with tips and suggestions. Highly recommend for a pleasant stay at this gorgeous island!

A great place to stay. A great beach on the doorstep and several others a reasonable walk away. Loads of eating and drinking places.
Really good for walkers. Some challenging hikes, but also more gentle walks. Usually these are on wonderful cobbled 'donkey' trails.

Such a charming little town.
Such a charming little town. Not as developed as other islands so retains charm and a load of character. Great little tavernas and bars for sunset. Everyone very friendly, very easy to find your way around. The perfect holiday location.

This is a perfect, unhurried location to unwind and just relax. Lots of local food options, two grocery stores, a bakery and various shops and ATMs in town provide everything you'd need. We loved the Limani Restaurant in particular for its food and atmosphere. It has a great menu with several daily specials (meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan offerings) and we ate several meals there. Nice beach - rather skinny but nice and long and pretty clean. Gets direct sunlight from about 10:00 AM and is a great place to watch the sunset. The population of the town is around 500 so things move at a pretty relaxed pace. While there are several nice tavernas that also offer food I wouldn't say that this is a place to come if you're craving nightlife. Two local villages, Thoralia and Lungarno which are both less than a 10-minute drive are packed with old-style Greek and definitely worth visiting. Lots of hiking trails of varying difficulty in the area. People were extremely friendly and welcoming.

There's not much to see or do on Amorgos but Aegiali is an enchanting place to kick back and chill for a few days. Nice beach with zero hassle to pay for deckchairs and lots of great, friendly restaurants and cafes, all at decent prices.
If anything the quiet and lack of culture got a little tedious - it would be an ideal place to get to know an engaging new lover or write that novel!

The beach is beautiful and at this time of year it’s easy to find a place of solitude. The vistas are spectacular, with winding roads and adjacent villages dotting the horizon. The cats, familiar residents of all Greek isles are well fed and healthy, as are the goats. The bars over look the Aegean and restaurants line the alley ways. The village is a 16km drive to the Chora; the scenic drive well worth it. Most nice hotels are a good hike to the town. You will need a car to explore the mountain villages, with their winding narrow streets and tavernas, although there is a local bus. Our favourite taverna in Aegali is To Limone. Wise to show up early as it gets busy around 7pm and try one of the daily specials. We stayed at Aliori Art Caves, lovingly created, designed and built by Roberto and his wife “Sunday”. An amazing experience on so many levels!

There were good opportunities for walking.
There were good opportunities for walking. The climb to Tholaria and the coastal path to Levrossos in particular. Two restaurants should be singled out for mention: Katinas and Taksidi. The beach at Levrossos is preferable to the one in Aegiali. Chora deserves a visit.
What a lovely place! The perfect homebase to explore Amorgos. The rooms were spotlessly clean, tastefully furbished and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the private balconies are just lovely, mine even had partial sea view. I had a motorbike to get around which was great to get to remote places and mountain villages, but it's an easy walk to the beach and all the lovely taverns of Aegiali. (The location on Google Maps is wrong, it is correct here on Booking.com) I enjoyed my stay here very much, thank you!
The location was great, our room had a wonderful başconb
balcony and gorgeous seaview. The room and
bathroom was perfectly clean- we loved the
towels and the pillows with the initials of the hotel.
The kitchenett was perfectly organised and very clean.
We had to take the ferry at 6 am , left the hotel at 4:45
and had a very pleasent trip to Katapola by taxi -
which was recommended to us by our host at the
hotel. We were heartly welcomed and enjoyed every second
of our stay - hope to come back soon.
Aelia Studios was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in our many years of travel in Greece. The room was quiet, beautiful, comfortable, roomy, clean and well-appointed. The view was incredible! We were close to grocery stores and restaurants and one beach. The other beach was a long hike, but well-worth the effort! The hostess was very responsive to all of our needs. We would definitely stay here again in the future!!
Gryspo's is the place to be on Amorgos, and Amorgos is the place to be in the Cyclades! Fabulous hotel, close to a great beach, in the fun little town of Aegiali, chill and lively at the same time, great hikes up to the hill towns and across the island. Highly, highly recommended! Thank you Yannis and Dora for a great stay - hope to come back!
I loved the fact that we could check in super late. Our ferry was delayed and we made it to Aegiali only after 4 AM. The host met us in person and handed over keys and an ice cold bottle of water (which God knows how much we needed in that moment!). The room was pretty simple and clean, with a nice little balcony. It served the purpose perfectly.
Amorgos is a stunning and quiet traditional Greek island and Pelagos is right near the beautiful Aegiali beach. The views are stunning and Sophia was the kindest, friendliest host. Her breakfast is wonderful and her flowering plants were a joy to walk past each day. The rooms were spotless, light, bright and airy. We hope to return one day 😊
Its rustic beach side hotel with very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was great and the hotel staff helped us with car rental and they also offered port transfers which made it very convenient to get to the hotel. Hotel is right at the beach and being Amorgos as a secluded island, it all added to its charm.
we truly had an incredible stay here! It was a wonderful base for exploring Amorgos. I can’t begin to say how kind and welcoming our hosts were . we absolutely consider them friends now after 5 nights here. I hope to be lucky enough to come back and stay here again someday!
Lakki village is a perfect green oasis near the sea! I really enjoyed the friendly staff and the peaceful atmoshere in the garden. The hotel restaurant has a beautiful natural shade when you need a break from a hot day near the beach.
We absolutely loved our stay in Aegiali! The place was very clean with a beautiful courtyard and a lovely local breakfast. The manager was always asking us about our stay and if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!
This one was one of the best stays we had all over thr cyclade islands. awesome & very friendly staff, nice & very clean rooms and perfect facilities. amorgos is beautiful and vigla is the perfect accommodation! we loved it!
I cannot express to what extent i loved our stay at amorgi studios. This hotel is a gem.
It has perfect location, just above the bay, close to the beach to enjoy every bit of aegiali.
We were met off the ferry and were welcomed and given a lift to the hotel. The hospitality was excellent and could not be faulted. Beautiful surroundings. The grounds are excellent.
The best location in Aegiali - right on the beach and yet away from the hustle and bustle. The apartment is big and clean with the upper bedroom boasting great view over the bay
Extremely clean, confortable room, very friendly, nice and professional staff, good and various breakfast and great and quiet location. A fantastic place in Amorgos !
