The location was great and not far from the beach and markets. The beds were very comfortable and black out shades had us sleeping very well! Place was clean and we even were left bread, butter, eggs etc for breakfast which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend. Also there is safe and private parking!

We had a most enjoyable time at the Hotel Stefanakis. It was quiet and peaceful, close to the beach, restaurants, groceries and a fantastic bakery. We enjoyed the lovely courtyard for our breakfast and the pool for relaxing. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. All and all it was the perfect place to recuperate from a long flight and get ready for our month-long Greek holiday.

Location was ok and room was big. The personnel was friendly as well.
Cute little town, but not much to do. Ended up going to the same restaurants more than once as we ran out of options that seemed appealing and actually serving greek food (there were some italian places and some more general restaurants (serving burger, pizza etc.)
It has an outdoor movie theatre that was great, showing two movies each night. Seemed to be run by a cute little family. Definitely worth going to.

We stayed because we were attending an event in Vouliagmeni, so we didn’t get to see much of Varkiza, apart from the taverna we had dinner in, which was perfect - great value for money and good food.
Vouliagmeni is the next resort along the coast but we walked there easily from the apartment, so it all worked well for us.

A great location by the sea with a lot of eateries for various tastes and budgets. Shops too and bakeries. Even an open-air cinema at the start of Afroditis Street (CineRia) that we made sure to visit in the evening. The residential areas are very quiet and the seafront lovely for a stroll. The only thing we didn't like is there is no free-entry beach in Varkiza that looks decent enough to swim or sunbathe in. We had to drive away for that (to Lagonissi and to Anavyssos aka Paleia Fokea). Lagonissi is much quieter than Anavyssos but the later offers the best beaches.

The town is quite small but has everything needed, beach is beautiful and walk along the sea is quite nice too. Very close to Athens and Airport and you can access either by either public transportation or if renting the car (about 20-30 minutes from Varkiza to each by car). Only negative thing is fee to enter the beach and change for each of the beach chairs on weekends. In other parts of continental Greece they usually give you 2 chairs and umbrella if you order drinks. Just paying 5e for each chair and 5e per person to enter the beach sets you back 20e at start. And in any of the restaurants outside beach you can eat like a king for 20e. Beach is nice, but there are other nice beaches in Greece for less money. Not that close to Athens though so this is definitely winning location if you want to stay close to capital but enjoy Greek beaches.

Yabanaki is a beautiful, clean, organized sandy beach, with nice sunbeds. The water is super clean and transparent. The entrance fee for the whole day is 5 EURs which absolutely worth it. It's good for a few days relaxation. The city itself is average... not really clean and has no night life at all, so it's easy to get bored. Vouliagmeni lake is a nice tourist attraction nearby which we didn't see.

Varkiza is a beautiful little place about an hour and a half from Athens. Aegean sea is beautiful with white sand, you have Varkiza resort on one side and tiny, public beach just near the resort. People are kind and friendly, there are a few bakeries with great pastry and ice-cream. Locals eat at "Zaxos", you have a variety of souvlaki and giros meals (there is lot of lamb and chicken on the menu). Have a pleasant stay!
Fani met us at the property. Gave us a quick tour and left. Quick, efficient and great. The apartment itself was very well equipped, easy to access and incredibly clean. We really enjoyed staying there and it was just right for what we needed. We were close to many beaches, and although we did not visit the nearest beach (because we had other family about 10 minutes away and visited them often), we found it really easy getting around. Also there were a few shops on the same road that made eating, shopping, etc really easy.
We stayed there a few years ago by chance and since it's become our go-to-place when visiting Athens.
As we are architects, this place amazed us because it is a living relic of 70s-80s Greek modernist architecture which amazingly has kept all it's original plans and layouts unspoiled (interior & exterior); an extremely rare establishment.
Architecture aside, the rooms are massive and unique, the kitchen appliances have been upgraded and furniture is well maintained
I had a short weekend stay with my kids. The hotel is not a new one but it is well maintained and very clean. I had a two-room appartment with skirchen with a lot of space, very clean and comfortable. Perfect for families. The location is also a big advantage. Very close to the central street of Varkiza but still quite and relaxing environment. The pool was also very clean and well managed. The personnel was exceptionally kind and hospitable.
the owner was extremely gracious and very helpful and went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable. it was great value, just a block from the beach and in a quiet safe residential area. plenty of wonderful restaurants around, supermarkets as well as gadget store nearby. easy taxi access because of proximity to the Varkiza resort.
lots of cats around the property and actually around all of Athens!
Thanks for a lovely stay in a very nice, clean and cosy apartment with livingroom and a separate bedroom, in the center of the small village Varkiza. The apartment has a large balcony with both a dinner table and lounge sofas, overlooking the green, lush garden. It is very close to the supermarket, cafes, bakerys and restaurants, just a few minutes walk.
I booked this apartment for 4 nights as i wanted to explore varkiza area. The apartment is airy and feels like home for home. The bed is super comfortable and the location is a quiet neighbourhood, where you'll get your sleep in. You can acess the balcony from the living room and bedroom. I would recommend you hire a car out within this location.
It has a swimming pool which h is one of the reasons we chose this hotel as my son loves tp swim
The apartment was clean and tidy. The room was well set up
The beach is walking distance from the hotel
Staff was friendly and assisted with queries such as: Where to get a bus, where seafood restaurants are
When I accidentally locked myself out of the apartment at 3am, the lady who looks after the unit for the overseas owners came the following morning when I called her, to open the apartment. I was lucky, however, that I had a relative staying in a nearby hotel who was able to accommodate me for the night.
We like that there are plants and flowers around and that it's close to the beaches. There are a few good restos nearby as well. The owner is very nice. The apartment has all the things we need - towels, toiletries, even food (bread, sweets, coffee, tea, and condiments for cooking)
Upon entering the studio I immediately felt that this is better than any hotel in the area. Its immaculately clean and has the cutest little balcony. The host bends over backward to accommodate any request such as early check in. Thank you very much for a great stay.
Extremly clean and perfect organized place. Close to the Beach Varkiza, big romms and balcony. Very comfort bed. Fresh bright white bedding. Modern and high quality furniture and style. We enjoyed this place. Very quiet area for perfect relax and rest.
Travelling for business this hotel was perfect for my needs. Well located, clean and comfortable the staff were very helpful. I left too early for breakfast, but was offered a very welcome coffee before departing at 6.00am
