Great position. The view was amazing and our poolside room was beautiful - they upgraded us for whatever reason but not complaining. Elizabeth was fabulous and works so hard to keep everyone happy ❤️

Amazing view, crazy infinity pool, nice and calm but still just a 15 minutes walk from the port where many good and very priceworthy restaurants are located. The cleaning was exceptional. We stayed in may, when the town is very calm, along with the beaches and the restaurants. The genuine people all over Ios really makes it stand out compared to Santorini. Best of all was our hosts, really amazing people, never met so kind and caring hosts, can’t thank them enough for making our stay the best it could be.

Ios Chora is the main town on the island of Ios. It's full of friendly local people, and a mix of expats who have made their homes there, or who visit year after year because of the island's ambience. My stay was over the Easter period, which in itself is a marvelous opportunity to observe or partake in the ages-old traditions of the Greek Orthodox religion. Later in the year, as the temperatures heat up, the town welcomes a much younger crowd, as bars and nightclubs open up to transform Ios into "party island"!

Ios is a beautiful island.
Ios is a beautiful island. The beaches, the food, the people, the buildings, the scenery, the nightlife, the chill factor but most of all the overall vibe is the best of any of the Greek islands I have visited and I can’t wait to go back there. The boat trip taking you to the 6 beaches is amazing with snorkelling thrown in. The square and its bars is a must. Sunsets in various location are stunning and the local traditional restaurants provide amazing food at reasonable prices

October was a very out of season time to visit Ios, most bars, restaurants and shops were closed so there was not much to do in the main town. The buses had stopped doing all routes apart from 3 stops.

Chora is the only one village on the whole island, very pitoresc and full of small streets with lot of shops, bars and restaurants. There are a number of beaches on the Island, worth to visit and very good accessible by car. best of all for sure the Koumbara Bay with the perfect sunbeds and great service, not cheap but worth each penny!
The staff at reception were great - Mary Ellen, Kiki and the two Margarita's plus Francis kept the apartment very clean and well stocked with toiletries. Friendly barman (Odi) at pool area.
Nice view from our upper terrace and a very good sized room..
The decor standard of the Apartment and Bathroom was first class and well above the norm for Greece.
Proximity to the Port and Taverna's, shops and car hire.
Sunset viewpoints and more in Hora which was a few minutes drive away, or a walk up a steep steps for a few hundred yards.
Amazing place, loved the island, the accomodations were outstanding, staff were awesome picked us up at the ferry dock and drove us to their hotel for no charge. Room was so beautiful, pool area and breakfast was also very nice. Short 5 min walk into centre. We would stay here again for a much longer time on our next visit. The best meal we had in Greece was at a little place close by calles 7-11 open 7 days 11 hours a day. Definitely worth a stop this little island and White Lofts!
The hotel offers a free transfer to/from the port, which is great!
Staff are very nice - they always try to accommodate requests and to make feel their guests at home.
Swimming pool area is fantastic and has a nice view of old town and the three little white churches at the top of the hill.
Our room exceeded our expectations. It was the best and more comfortable room we had in Greece. Nice style, recently refurbished, clean, great size - it was very nice to spend time in it.
nice place with huge swimming pool and lots of sun chairs. Big room with air conditionned and good bedding. Mini fridge included. Excellent WIFI connection, including at the beach, since this one is just across the road...you can hardly be closer to the sea !!!
The location of this hotel is just amazing....8 minutes walk to the port, and right at the sea !!! free sunbeds for hotel guests.
Lots of cats around (as in many places in Greece).
This hotel treats you like family which is refreshing while traveling. If you need anything the owners are very willing to help with taxi numbers and things to do on the island. The cleaning service brings new sheets even for a short three day stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with having balconies with amazing views of the ocean. It was perfect walking distance and if you didn’t want to walk there is a bus stop very close.
Annerie and Chris are an awesome couple! They went out of their way to show us the town, give us a few amazing suggestions and recommendations, and make our time on Ios as memorable as possible. Their small hotel is beautiful, with spotless rooms, good breakfast, and a breathtaking infinity pool and sundeck. They run an incredible hotel, and their hospitality and kindness was a highlight of our honeymoon to Greece!
We really enjoyed our holidays in Mare Blue. The hotel is very well located, close to the beach and the port area. Maria and her family were really sweet to us and even offered us some traditional greek food they had cooked. Ios chora is about 20' walking and you have to climb some stairs, but you can always take the bus, which has a nice frequency.
My friend and I stayed here while island hopping through Greece - this stay was a highlight.
The hosts are very polite and helpful and treat every guest like family!
The pool with a swim up bar is just a bonus and Marina’s mojitos are to die for 😉
Will recommend this stay to any family or friends travelling to ios in the future.
The family that own this hotel are incredible. We had the BEST stay. They were so helpful with everything, we lost our luggage coming in to Greece and they helped us coordinate getting it back. Hotel was in an awesome location and they were so helpful. Would come back here every time!
Perfect location , we could go to town , to the port and even to the beach Mylopotas on foot Our hosts were really nice and attentive. We appreciate to relax near the pool after walking all day . Rooms are clean with a little balcony . The bus stop is just in front of the hotel .
Location excellent…walking distance to town and opposite direction to beach. Spectacular view of the Sea.
All Hotel staff the friendliest I’ve had in Greece…
Food is delicious with many extra cakes & deserts for guests.
Our stay was amazing. Best hotel in Ios…I will be back!!
Lovely boutique hotel, very comfy beds and sunbeds. The pool setting was pretty and the hotel is ideally located next to the port. Overall felt very good value for money and was better than some 4* hotels we have stayed in
Small hotel within walking distance of the port and beach, perfect for a few nights stay away from the main town. Lovely terrace to have breakfast on. Excellent value - we would stay here again!
Nikki and Lisa were amazing. The hotel was more beautiful than the photos and the pool and room were beautiful. I loved it and will definitely stay here again if I return to Ios.
Staff were very nice, great location to be by the relaxing port as opposed to the craziness of the town. Simple hotel with everything you need. Amazing views from the balconies.
