Kissamos is an excellent home base for trips to Balos and also for Elafonisi, much closer than Chania. There are also many restaurants along the beach in walking distance. We didn't swim there but it is possible. You might consider Falasarno for a few days for a beautiful beach with surf!

It’s a small town but we could enjoy walking along the beautiful beaches. There are some supermarkets so that we could get fresh vegetables and also fresh fish which were really tasty. There are a lot of buses and they are usually very on time. We could make our schedule smoothly and everything went super!

The place is very quiet and relaxing, especially during the dusk & the night where you can have your dinner in the big balcony & view all the stars in the sky, after a full day at the nearby beaches. Is a perfect location to visit west Crete, 15-20 min from the amazing Falassarna beach and 20 min from the parking place of the famous Balos beach. Also, it is less than 60 min to visit the unique Elafonisi beach. I would definitely choose this villa again in my next visit to west Crete!

The apartment was a little tight for our family of 4, would be suitable for couples or families with young children. The pool was great, we spent a lot of time there. Location is very convenient for shorter drives to the beaches on the west side of the island. Excursions are offered, you should inquire before arrival so you can make reservations in advance. It is a nice quiet place to stay just minutes from Kissamos where you can go for dining or groceries.

There was plenty of parking space just in front of the hotel, the hotel has a small private beach where sunbeds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. The breakfast was really good and fresh. It is located maybe 10 min walking to bars and restaurants in Kissamos centre. And the staff were all so polite and friendly. Highly recommed!

The small team provide the highest levels of service from reception, cleaning, catering and management. Lots of delicious choices for breakfast. The location is great too: just a few minutes from the beach (although the pool is lovely) and Kissamos town centre, and yet the hotel is quiet and peaceful.

The apartment was brand new, very well equipped and as a welcome there even was fruit, raki and a minimum for breakfast. Coffee, sugar, salt, sheets, and even an umbrella for the beach! Washing machine which was life saving! Really enjoyed the bed, too. Definitely recommend. Day trips to balos, elafonisi. My favourite was Falasarna. You need to have a car.
