Great location, very clean room and bathroom, helpful staff, the cleaners went to the effort of tidying my room even though I was only there two nights, large enough room for the price. Good value for money. A lot better and cleaner than hotels of a similar price in other European cities.

I can't comment on Piraeus as a destination in its own right. Like most people I pass through it on the way to or from a ferry. It's a convenient place to overnight but isn't the most attractive part of Athens.

A tip is to get a ticket for the Acropolis then go back later. There was a long line to get in once we got to the top, the wait time was 3 hours to enter. We were not able to enter.

Piraeus is a work-a-day town with nothing special to see.
Piraeus is a work-a-day town with nothing special to see. The main reason people stay here is to take the ferry or a cruise ship. We stayed at the Glaros Hotel, which is a basic accommodation that I would not stay at again. I recommend staying in Athens or another local town.

Disregard comment on missing items from bag previously made.
Disregard comment on missing items from bag previously made. They reviewed footage and no one touched my bag. So it must have been in Athens when some souvenirs were taken. Loved the location of this hotel and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind.

We enjoyed our stay in an apartment in Piraeus not far from...
We enjoyed our stay in an apartment in Piraeus not far from the port entrance. The port is a very busy and very big area, it took us a while to find our way round as there are very few directional signs in English. It makes it hard to find things initially. We had to ask directions a lot and some locals treated us poorly with eye rolling, etc. while they explained directions to us like we were children. Once you get it worked out though it is a great way to do a bit of island hoping. We went on day trips to Paros, Hydra and Aegina. Loved them all.
Hospitality staff in restaurants and cafes in Piraeus were great, very friendly and helpful. Great service everywhere we went.
The area is not very attractive though as it is a working waterfront and as with everywhere in Greece there is so much graffiti. So sad that a city with such incredible history is so badly defaced. Overall it was a great stay though.
Great location to Piraeus Port, in a nice location in Athens. It’s a modern, new hotel and the staff are lovely. Maria was extremely helpful and kind with our arrival from the port when the driver wasn’t available to pick us up providing us with a lovely bottle of wine which was very much appreciated after a long day travelling. She also provided us with great information regarding the metro to the airport which is very easy from the hotel
The hotel is very near to Pireaus port. We reached at late night on the port and 24 hours reception made check in easy. The public bus stop and metro were at 4-5 mins walking from hotel, it had good accessible public transport to reach Athens International airport
The hotel did not have hot water, The Morning receptionist was better, she attended the request for shifting us to another hotel (hotel Delfini) due to inconvenience caused
The hotel is easy to find when you leave the metro station in Piraeus in the night (after a long flight to Athens airport). The hotel proved to have better standard than I expected. There seem to be a man in the reception all night, and almost no traffic noise could be heard in the room (#103). There is also short way from the hotel down to gate E7 in the harbour from where I took the Blue Star ferry next morning.
The hotel is cozy and conveniently located. The metro station is very close, and you can reach the main central Athens attractions directly. It's also very close to the port, within walking distance. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants nearby for a great dinner. Towels are changed every day, and they also provide water. Within a 3-minute walk, there's a large supermarket where you can find everything you need.
Hotel staff were very pleasant. Although there is no parking- the lot across from the hotel was offered for 11 Euros a day- coming and going as desired- which was a plus since parking is challenging in Piraeus, so close to the port. Shops all around- so there really was no need for a car- since the Metro train is right around the corner and will get you to all the sites in Athens, but we had a car.
Achillion Hotel is a reliable accommodation in a great location, not very far from ferries, two metro lines, and the NAT stop of the x96 airport bus. I have booked it several times, knowing that it will be a comfortable place to recover from flights or ferries, at a very reasonable cost. Clean, good facilities, WiFi and hot water are great, friendly and efficient people at the desk, open 24 hours.
This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our trip. After staying in three other hotels that were rated over 8+ on Bookingcom (with uncomfortable beds), we stayed at the Hotel Triton on our last evening in Greece. The staff was cordial and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location was perfect and the beds and sheets were amazingly comfortable.
Achillion was a perfect hotel to stay in the night before an early boat to Naxos the following day. Only around 5 or 6 min walk to the port (and less than a 10 min walk from Dimotiko Theatro train station where you get to direct from Athens airport), it was great value for money, very clean and the staff were super-friendly. Highly recommended.
Shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and to the cruise line was wonderful. The gentleman who shuttled us was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. His English was exceptional, which I appreciate, as the Greek language is very difficult for me. The room was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this hotel....
This is a great boutique hotel, at one end of the city, 20 minutes from city centre connected with all kind of public transports. It’s 68 minutes metro from airport, which is having a 36 minutes interval services. There are other options like bus or train + bus to reach airport.
The suite was fantastic and the sea view was amazing I liked my staying there, very clean, the stuff very helpful
But actually make sure when you book that you are in Pireas not in athens because it is far from Athens but there are a public transportation very close to the hotel
We missed our ferry connection so needed a hotel near the port and within a few minutes had found a room. So convenient for the port. We could wheel our cases there. The receptionist was very helpful. The room was very clean and there were a couple of good restaurants close by.
We wanted to stay close to the Piraeus Port since we were leaving on a cruise. The hotel was very nice. There's an above-ground pool on the top floor. The room was very nice and clean. Easy walking to shops and restaurants and about a 15 min walk to the Metro.
The staff was amazing! They were attentive, kind and helpful. I appreciated their positive energy after a long day of travel. The hotel was walking distance from the port. Plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The room was basic and clean.
Lovely hotel near the port. Room was well appointed and the bed was very very comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant which was OK and the breakfast was great. Hotel parking, once found, was an added bonus!
The location was optimal for someone who's not from Greece. Near both the ferry and the metro. They had breakfast in the morning as well. Plus cleaning of the room every day but that's the norm of hotels.
We took a suite so the room was very spacious. Its probably the best hotel near the port. The staff were very nice and kept our luggage when we went to the islands.
