Breakfast was the best ever, and eating it on the porch overlooking the Aegean was wonderful. Location was perfect, just around the bend from all the action in the port. Hotel staff was helpful, even carried our bags up the steps. Room was comfortable and clean.

Hotel Effie is in a very central location and most things are just a few minutes away. I walked almost everywhere because things were so close. Right from leaving the ship, the hotel is just a few minutes to reach without a car. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and always had an idea for daily activities even when I didn't. I felt cared for and taken care of. The facilities are clean and the surroundings are like a picture from a travel guide. Very peaceful atmosphere and simplistic charm. I would definitely visit again!

I like the location the place and structure design of room and staff attitude and cleanliness of the hotel. Owner Mike is very friendly and very helpful. The room is cleaned every day and all rubbish is taken out. They have good breakfast. Hotel is just a 5 minutes walk to port beach bus station and heart of Patmos night life. Also Historical side cave is only 1,2 km.And if you are fit enough you can walk from cave in trek way up to Chora Monastery and Wind mills.

Perfect location, nice and kind owners, cute building
Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible.
Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible. We visited the beautiful village of Chora, the monastery of St John, the windmills, and the spiritual cave of the Apocolypse, where John wrote the book of Revelation in the Bible. All was achieved in one day by taxi from Skala. The entire trip was from the island of Kos by ferry, with a 2 night stay in Skala. Well worth it. Wonderful !! Two beautiful islands in one holiday !!

There are many paths that appear to be footpaths but are actually roads. Once you are aware of this, it makes it easier to travel with a scooter, which I recommend. these paths are also great to get around by foot and it is a nice walkable area.

Pleasant, very typical Greek port town, with meandering streets and reasonably restrained tourism. Some great restaurants. Easy access to the famous monastery by bus, and the cave where John supposedly wrote the Book of Revelation; also easy bus access to some great beaches (and some not so great). Well worth a short visit, but not if your preference is for boisterous nightlife.

A very nice compact town with a lovely array of shops, restaurants and bars. Beautiful harbour and a stunning hora above the main town. We were there in the 3rd week of September and the buses were still running. Netia restaurant at the far end of town was our favourite, followed by Pantelis. Best beach accessible by bus was Kampos.

Skala is a lovely place to visit.
Skala is a lovely place to visit. Hiring a car made a difference and we were able to travel around. Stefonos did hire cars and bikes at reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this property.
Owner and his wife very pleasant and accommodating
Irene studios are located in a nice, quiet area of Skala town, easy to reach, either by car or on foot. The property is lovely, with a nice garden and bright rooms and a porch/balcony in front of every room. Irene herself is very helpful and accommodating. She picked us up from the port, we had no pressure with our check in/out times, she’s always with a smile on her face, and even arranged for our rental car to be delivered in front of our door! Overall we had a nice, relaxing stay in the lovely island of Patmos.
Hotel location is excellent. Family owned facility. Stefanos family showed us very warm approach. They picked us up from ferry with their car and dropped back to ferry at the end of our vacation. Room was very clean and very well furnished. They are professional. They were eager to answer all our questions. They tried to help us out for the wholr time in a very eager way. I would 100% recommend you to stay here. Especially for such price it is a gem. Thank you very much Stefanos family. Hope to see you again!
Armyra Hotel is a perfect place with perfect hosts. Isidoros aims for you to have a perfect stay in Patmos and introduces you to the many beauties and to the rich culture of this jewel island. He cares to each and every detail of your comfort. He is offering a very generous hospitality.
The hotel is close to the center and in a quiet area with beautiful sunsets on the beach.
Great breakfast also on a cool terrace with seaview.
Absolutely clean and cosy, you feel at home in this wonderful place.
The check in staff were wonderful….especially the kind woman you gave us so much good advice about what to see and do and arrange rental car for us, and took care of our luggage etc….. she really went out of her way and we appreciated it.
The location was perfect for us coming and leaving with the ferry…..walking distance.
The hotel was very accommodating when we needed to make a last minute change to our reservation…..thank you!
This is a very centrally located hotel run by a family. Jerry and his father are passionate about their business and you feel this every moment. Rooms are nicely arranged with access to garden and privacy and with a lot of space inside. We got figs at our garden table every morning and got very good tips from Jerry when we needed to move around in Patmos. We would definitely come again at our next trip.
I loved staying at the Blue Bay Hotel. Our ferry arrived at midnight so we were grateful that we could walk to our hotel and even more grateful when we were graciously welcomed. My room had a fantastic view!
We also enjoyed the breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the sea.
Above all, we appreciated the cheerful assistance by everyone at the hotel.
Nikolas, his wife and family are exceptional hosts. Everything from the pick up at the ferry port to driving us around the island was fantastic. The studio was immaculate and you are often surprised with fruit from the garden and freshly baked pies. It’s a short walk to Skala with its shops and restaurants, and also another short walk to the beach . Amazing week.
The nicest hotel in Skala. By the sea at the small fishing harbour next to the main ferry boat pier. Everything within walking distance (port/town, bus station, taxi-station, shops, bars, restaurants, etc.) Excellent views of the bay from the front rooms and breakfast area. Great breakfast, kind staff, decent pool, lovely room. Couldn't ask for more.
We stayed for 3 nights in early October. Location is excellent - you walk from the Port to the hotel. It is also close to Skala town centre. Very good views from our hotel room balcony to the St Peters Monastery and of Chora town. Lovely restaurants all nearby. We ate at the lovely Pantelis, which is some meters from the hotel.
Comfortable, quiet room with a great view of a private bay. Very close to the Cave of the Apocalypse and Skala. Had all the amenities for a pleasant and lovely stay in Patmos. There were snacks, water and coffee ready for us in the room and the owner also brought some fresh fruit for us to snack on.
Too much space, nice furniture, fully equipped kitchen, cozy and quiet place, nice view, near the Skala port.
The refrigerator was full with mineral water, gas water, beers, fruits, cheese, butter and bacon! Croissants and coffee for breakfast as well! Very friendly stuff!!!
Excellent staff. Jacob was very helpful and showed us many things to do on Patmos. The price is very reasonable and the location is perfect (very close to the port and city center).
Exceeded my expectations. I booked it last minute. Hotel’s rating should be higher. Very airy and clean. Excellent location. The owners are very friendly. Will come back next year.
The staff was very pleasant and the location was perfect! Loved the outside of the hotel with the stones. Walking distance to the town. Accommodating reception desk
