Staff, food, and rooms were all wonderful! I felt very happy and comfortable here. The staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful. Vicky at the lunch restaurant was especially great and guest relations went out of their way to help make our anniversary more special. The property is beautiful and spa so relaxing. Highly recommend!

Kokkini Hani is a very quiet little village.
Kokkini Hani is a very quiet little village. The only noice the airplanes, but see them landing makes you feel like you are on holiday on a beautiful island. It's part of Kokkini Hani. Kids will love the planes. Worth to try the local tavernas, where service is homey and kind. Greek traditional food is delicious, local people are so kind. Atmosphere is very relaxed. I felt time has stopped for a week :)

Peaceful village but with easy communication with Heraklion.
Peaceful village but with easy communication with Heraklion. Several travel agencies, car rentals, a lot of restaurants and fast food, among others, Taverna Pratsínis with a charming garden, where you can dine under the shade of citrus trees, is worth recommending. A pub with cheap food ΓΙΑΝΝΗΣ on Annapolis St with a very nice owner, tasty and cheap fast-food - Fwlia pizza grill house and many more. Several medium-sized supermarkets. There is a large holiday resort, the beaches are rather poor and better crowded ... Nirou excavation attraction closed despite opening hour's information.

This was such an amazing villa , as gorgeous as the photos show . If you turn left out of the villa walk to the end of the road and turn left there is a small supermarket and a coffee shop opposite ( 4 min walk ) , if you carry down to the end of that road there are a few shops , bars and restaurants . If you turn right at bottom of road outside pizza shack there is a bus stop which will take you to hassonisos- lively touristy town massive recommendation restaurant called FRESH . 2 euros each per journey .
If you turn left and walk down to seafront from Willa lovely restaurant called JOZ .
We got a taxi to water city ( water park ) from villa - 10 minutes .

We didn’t walk much outside the hotel but it didn’t feel like there was much to see. The are a few mini markets, pharmacy, and ATMs and a beach. It seems like a place for resorts, nothing much other than that.

Very good hotel for families with kids. Everything is well organized, rooms are fresh and clean, the services are OK and food is good. Staff is very good, including supervisors at the waterpark - they are very attentive. Great staff at the main bar and pool bar. Maybe I would recommend: providing some more dietic (boiled, not grilled) meat/fish options; and also if - possible - expand the playground, which is a bit small for the demand. Overall good value for money.
My family had the most wonderful time at this resort! From beach to pool, all inclusive was everything we needed. The staff were so kind and friendly! This resort is just beautiful and incredibly relaxing. We got upgraded to a stunning room, front, ocean room! We never want to return to resorts we’ve been to before but we loved this one so much that we will be back next year! Thank you for everything. Best hotel we’ve stayed in! X
Everything is fine and clean, all the people is kind and my room was wide and confortable. It's in the main street of Kokkini Hani, near shops, markets and restaurants (but you can also have a nice dinner or a drink in the hotel!), and just two steps far from the beach.
Three things I'm bringing back from Marilisa Hotel: the sound of the waves, the laughs of Maria, and the smile of Helena.
Big room close to the beach. We had to stay at this hotel because our flight was cancelled and there was no other opportunity. The reservation was last minute and the staff did the best to accommodate us despite the language barrier and the fact that they were about to close the hotel because if was the end of the touristic season.
The location was in in itself perfect (directly at the seaside, nice view and direct access to the shore). The staff was kind. The beach is stony (good for beginner snorkers), but there are also sandy beaches close by. There are good restaurants nearby. The hotel has a small pool ideal for small children. Use of sunbeds are free.
Nice swimming pool, quiet area, which is near the bus stop and supermarkets, stores and restaurants. You can order nice food and drinks at the hotel restaurant too. The room was spacious with everything you might need, but the chairs were a little uncomfortable. The beds, however, were comfortable.
the location was important to me, not too far from the airport
Julie and her husband are true hosts, they make you feel really welcome, cookies and raki were offered, YUM!
Julie also gave me some very good tips for my trip to the east of Crete, see pics of Agios Nikolaos and Plaka
I came to Crete for the first time and left with two new friends. George and George are just amazing hosts. The hospitality exceeded my expectations and I´m definitelly comming back next year! There is absolutely nothing I could pinpoint as a negative. Everything was just perfect!
The rooms were quite big and spacious with a private balcony outside. The staff of the hotel is VERY helpful and super nice - they helped us with any request and even a late check in. The hotel is very close to the airport so good if you have an early flight next day.
Fantastic location, overlooking the surrounding area: 3 terraces overlooking the sea and the hills to the mountains. The communication and support was excellent. One of the best holiday options in Crete for those who appreciate the beauty of nature.
The location is near to the bus stop, therefore it's easy to reach the airport or Heraklion. The room is perfect for 1-2 nights just to explore this part of Crete. The host was really friendly, he ordered a taxi for us with the discount.
It was a very well designed hotel with lots of restaurant options.
Our room was clean and spacious enough for 3 adults.
Entertainment team was super friendly and fun. It was the highlight of our vacation.
The owners are lovely. They welcomed us warmly late at night and gave useful advice as to where and how we could spend the rest of the holiday in Crete.
The location is close to the beach (about 150m).
Very nice hotel with swimming pool and comfortable beds and a nice shower. Breakfast in the hotel is delicious. There are lovely beaches and restaurants on walking distance. I felt very welcome!
Stayed one night - staff very friendly & helpful.
Pool really nice & right by the beach. Loungers free for hotel guests.
Coffee & food available all day on demand.
It's a beautiful hotel right in front of the beach, breakfast had ample selections and was delicious. This was our second stay, we hope to return again.
