The service at the hotel was impeccable. Staff were always attentive and friendly. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. There was a lot to see and do on the hotel property (museums, gardens, restaurant, bar, spa, pool). Art lovers will appreciate the galleries and art throughout the property. My room was spacious yet still felt cozy.

I stayed during low season, so the place was not too busy or noisy. The hotel itself has a very few rooms, which gives you a cozy/homey vibe. Great breakfast and friendly staff, rooms are decent size. The property is gorgeous with lots of plants/flowers, the building has an amazing view from the rooftop.

Such a beautiful city! I wish I had planned for more than 3 days. Take a walking tour and a food tour. Don't miss the hidden speakeasy U'Lew. The food is so affordable here! Try local favorites at Rinconcito - even fast food places have fresher food than in the US. Checkout the beautiful grounds of the Starbucks. Don't miss visiting the Monastery - it was the least crowded spot in town and the most beautiful!

We stayed just one night here and felt like we had a chance in the afternoon of arrival and then a few hours in the morning to see everything major in town. We arrived on a Sunday night and it was SWARMING - my son actually said it reminded him of Disneyland with vendors selling all the same things like light up toys, etc. Monday morning was much more calm and enjoyable. Was able to see the beautiful sites and enjoy the town much more. The volcano was barely coming out as we were leaving so wish we had a better view of that.

pay in Q and not dollars or use your credit card which is not a guarantee. They were canceling my guest reservations and my VISA/MC or DISCOVER was not working except my DEBIT card which was odd but was later explained that they have to wait 8 days to get the money from the credit card and DEBIT card was immediate money. That was not nice.

Lovely historical town that captures the culture, cuisine and spirit of the country. Walkable, or by Uber or tuk tuk. Most streets are bumpy cobblestone, so don’t recommend bikes, although there are bike tours provided in the area. Lots of hotels, B&Bs, and restaurants, museums, historical sites and shops for tourists.

Wish I could have stayed longer! This hostel is lovely for relaxing and working too. Great wifi. The pool, sauna and coffee bar are all amazing extras. They have a huge roof terrace where you can relax, as well as loads of seating throughout the property. I’ve never slept in a bed so comfy away from home. The bathrooms were great too, so clean and with hot water showers. The breakfast included was great too. The staff and service were amazing - it felt like a luxury hotel.
My stay at El Convento in Antigua was an absolute delight. Every detail of the hotel was meticulously cared for, signaling a high level of attention to guest satisfaction. The breakfast, included in the stay, was exceptional, offering a quality that went above and beyond our expectations.
Lovely hotel, we loved the colourful decoration and the pool. Breakfast at their sister hotel was great, you can get a ticket for a discount. Coffee is available to help yourself to which is a nice touch. Staff were helpful with all our questions, organising tours, laundry etc.
