I was enthralled with the buffet every single meal. Such diversity, plenty of food, from healthy options to some of the options more appealing to kids. Lowered tables with food so the bigger kids can take their own meals. Ice cream cart, chocolate fountain and also so many options for grown ups. The staff is extremely friendly, patient with kids and nice in general. There are so many possible activities for kids.

Staff was suburb, room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Picked us up at their Parking lot and carried our bags to our room. They accommodated our one night stay. Even offered to drive us back from car rental drop off and took us to the pier the next morning to catch our ferry. We missed breakfast so they packed us a hearty lunch to take with us. They made us feel special and we so appreciated it.

Great staff; big, clean room; all the cute shops and many restaurants close by, but not close enough that it made for a noisy room. The Melegran did an excellent job with communication, giving perfect directions to their parking lot (far from the hotel, but they provide a driver to take you to and from the hotel), provided suggested activities, restaurants, etc.

For us this was some relaxing time spent in rovinj during a road trip of Europe so we were not looking to do a huge amount whilst here. The old town is beautiful to wander around & the church & clock tower up on the hill. There are lots of restaurants to sit outside by the sea/harbour for coffee & meals. Pula is about 40 mins away & apparently very nice to visit so will do that on our next visit to Rovinj. Plenty if options for panoramic boat tours & dolphin spotting tours.
We took the little tourist train that trundles around the area but wouldn't actually recommend this as it is one way & much too far to walk back, and we are walking people. Plus the destination was just a holiday complex - nothing to see or do there so it was all rather disappointing. But the driver was great - we didn't actually say we were disappointed but he didn't accept our payment for the return journey.

We have traveled extensively around the world and had never heard the name Rovinj before. Both my neighbors in NZ are Croatian and neither said to go there if you are in the north of Croatia. This village in our opinion will become at lot more popular as more learn about it.. It is one of the highlights of our European trip this year.

Rovinj is beautiful! Go in the off season and enjoy! I especially recommend eating prawns/scampi while looking at the beautiful sea. And do NOT go on a holiday weekend (as we did). The traffic was terrible!!!

Loved being able to walk all around town, down by the beach and up (!!) to the cathedral. Shopping was really great, especially for clothes. We took a guided tour of the old town which helped us orient ourselves.
The streets were bustling with tourists and residents, and a good vibe.
Lots of good restaurants!

Very nice, typical old historical town of Istria, with a lot of good seafood restaurants, cafes, small bars ... and with many, many opportunities and possibilities for various types of activities. Directly under the old town peninsula cliffs is a rocky beach, with an acceptable access to the water and although the city, the water is clearly clean. 20min. walk, multiple small sandy beaches and very nice green area and park. Sea view with an sunset is excellent
Close to the beach, but still out of all the crowd. Pay attention to their store as you can buy seasonal veggies and fruit from there.Their wine is great too! We actually had a dinner at their place as we were too tired to go to town. We had some bred, their olives, their figs, few different types of cheese, some cold cuts of meet and tried few tupes of their wines. Their breakfast was one of the best we had in 3 weeks touring Greece. Italy and Croatia. Both Samantha and Karen are great and helped us answering all the questions we had.
Location is very central, right in the heart of the old town and at the same time 2 minutes from the port and the sea front. The building, the reception and the rooms are all perfectly decorated in old Rovinj style, the rooms are big and clean. The staff is very helpful and very friendly, make you feel at home, they are available for any request and can pick you up from the paking with your car to bring you very close to the hotel and then take your car away for you and park it.
We had great holidays there with friends and family. Although there were many guests, the islands as well as the hotel itself were big enough that it never felt overcrowded there. The prices are quite fair and the rooms are minimalistic but good enough and clean.
Our highlights were the great variety of bars and restaurants with slightly different styles, the natural ambient in the small forrests and on the beaches and the very kind staff 👍
Fabulous property with everything you could possible need. Great facilities and excellent concierge who were invaluable in helping us organise some nice day trips. Room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast excellent choice and real tea (tea pot!)
Pool shared with Eden hotel next door but that was fine private loungers on beach short walk.
Walk into old town along the front about 35mins flat.
Beautiful, large room in the city center. Walking distance to everything you want to see in Rovinj! If you decide to drive, there is also a convenient parking spot a short walk away from the hotel. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful with our bags and recommendations to local beaches, restaurants, and more. I highly recommend staying here!
The property is a precious little jewel box - small and compact but every detail has been considered. The staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful with a vaulted ceiling and very comfortable bed, the location was great and the breakfast was nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit to Rovinj.
The location was perfect for visiting all of the highlights in Rovinj. The apartment with all of the amenities was updated and comfortable. Free parking was definitely a plus for us as we were on a three week journey through Slovenia and Croatia. we also received excellent recommendations from the owner for dining in Rovinj and great day trips.
Lovely cosy apartment. In the heart of the Old Town and very near Carera Street and Town centre. Perfect for a festival stay. The host and owners are real lovely and helpful people. Property is fresh and recently renovated. They provided a hotel like experience albeit this is a studio flat. Bars and restaurants are all close on hand.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a wonderful staff member. She took the time to explain about and make suggestions for meals in Rovinj. Our accommodations were great. Modern, updated, clean, hotel and room. The room size was surprisingly big. The breakfast selections were fresh and ample. The staff was friendly and professional!!
The location is spectacular. The ferry to and from the island was convenient. The food was good and the staff helpful. Our room size was nice and the view overlooking Rovinj was really breathtaking. The hotel is older and can use some updating ( new mattresses, sleeper sofa). We enjoyed our stay and will recommend it.
The reception at the hotel was very pleasant, friendly and charming.
This impression has continued throughout the stay.
The parking service for the car was perfectly organized.
Very spacious and nice room with a view of the old town of Rovinj.
Very good breakfast buffet. This was really something special
It was in the heart of the city, and the staff made you feel like family! They were so gracious and kind. We were introduced to beautiful Croatia by such lovely people. Also a plus was the complementary bikes that we took to the park. Breakfast was wonderful. Old world style with much charm!
Exceptionally gracious and helpful hosts! The location is within easy walking distance to nearby beaches ,the wonderful harbor, the old town and many many restaurants! Parking and super breakfast on site a real plus as well. Rovinj is a great town and Rooms Barbieri is THE place to stay!
The hotel is architecturally stunning. Plenty of room and places to explore. The facilities and views on f the old town are fantastic. Never felt overcrowded or hectic. Staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive but relaxed and informal.
everything! we travel a lot. Hotel Eden by far exceeded our expectations! in every category. Location was great. From walking trails for days and old town 15 minute beautiful waterfront walk
Excellent location, great restaurant, amazing staff. The partnership with the Grand Park hotel is really nice for the pool and spa, but loved the boutique feel of the Adriatic right in town
Close to the old town around 7 minutes by walking. The hotel provides you a parking ticket which you can use around the parking places at beach and close to the hotel.
Really well designed, small, boutique spot in the heart of Rovinj old town. Extremely kind and welcoming host.
Not to talk about the breakfast. Simon amazing.
