We were advised that our room needed maintenance so we’re moved to a sister hotel The Old Bank. We were not very impressed with it. We were not offered anything other than thanks for easily agreeing to moving.,it would have been nice if we were offered breakfast..

View was excellent and the breakfast was OK. Would have been nice if the kitchen was willing to make lunch before noon. We were there for 1145 AM and they would not take our order until it was 12 noon on the spot.

The location was perfect close to the harbour and a short walk from restaurants bars and shops.
Poised in the center of this medieval fishing port overlooking the marina and the colorful streets. Perryville House combines the grandeur of the past with the luxuries and convenience of today.

A nice enough little place but exceptionally busy with Tourists, often from Cruise Ships. Parking was a nightmare and Toilets are like Hens Teeth. One hour here is more than enough. I can't really recommend it for anything except wasting a bit of time.

Kinsale is a cute little town. Beware. Not easy to drive in. Good place to spend a few days.We used it as a base for going to Mizen head, Baltimore and other places south of Cork.
Also note, and this is very common in Ireland, don't get up a the crack of dawn and expect to find a place open for breakfast. A few opened at 8 but more often opened at 9 and even 10. Earlier than 9 were few and far between. Those that are tend to be crowded for obvious reasons.

It was disastrous, my wife decided to go down the town for a walk around as she was walking she noticed foreigners watching her every move and they then started to pair up and follow her, she felt so threatened that she had to go into spar shop and wait for me to collect her. Would never visit there again.

Kinsale is a fantastic town for a weekend away.
Kinsale is a fantastic town for a weekend away. There are several excellent restaurants where you will have unforgettable experiences. The Black Pig and Finns Farmcut are amazing. Breakfast can be hit or miss, The Lemon Leaf and OHK were excellent. If the weather allows the walk out to Charles Fort is lovely, with a pint of Murphy’s at the Bulmans. The views at the Old Head of Kinsale are breathtaking, and Garretstown Beach is stunning. The tour and tasting at Kinsale Mead is fascinating and a unique highlight. Be careful choosing where to stay, as standards are not reflected by star ratings, and the centre can be noisy. Parking is challenging with two hour max at the central car park, better at SuperValu but you’ll need to move your car overnight.
After staying in a tiny hotel in Dublin, this room was a welcome treat - large and bright! We had a lovely view of the water (granted we also had to look over the parking lot, but it was fine). We were close to town and could walk everywhere very easily. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a snack at the restaurant downstairs one afternoon and food and service were good. The included breakfast was very good - a buffet as well as items you could order. This was one of our favorite hotels on this trip.
Lovely breakfast - I loved the stewed fruit with youghurt; adds that bit of something over just a full Irish, served in a lovely room and the staff there were very friendly. Well spaced out in times of covid.
The soap dispensers are a great idea - love the sustainability.
Good coffee and tea facilities in the room. Bed was very comfortable, room not noisy. Great sleep over all. The bath robes (no slippers) were a lovely touch.
Location is superb. The hotel itself looks lovely.
Everything about the Blind Gate House made for a wonderful stay. The location was about a five-minute walk downhill to Kinsale. There was a large parking lot at the Blind Gate House which made it easy to park our car.
The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we have had on our Ireland travels (yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, cheese, freshly squeezed juice, and a hot option) My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there.
We had a very enjoyable 1 night stay during our road trip of Ireland
The accommodation was very good. High end, comfortable and clean
Very helpful receptionist on arrival.
No parking at the hotel but the car park is about 5 minutes walk and it was free
The location is superb. Lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants and lots of venues playing Irish music.
We loved Kinsale.
Would highly recommend the lovely walk to the fort.
Thank you
The location was perfect for exploring Kinsale. Everything was close enough to walk to. The staff were great - friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and the number of choices incredible. You could have just juice or tea or coffee and yoghurt or some fabulous cooked options. Also like that there was a pool and workout facility and parking at the hotel
Such a charming spot. We stayed at so many different places on our time in Ireland - the two nights in the apartment above Daltons Bar was by far the best one. Location is perfect and the bar felt like our home base. The price was reasonable and we felt like we had so much space- more than expected! Even though the Daltons were out of town the bar staff was very welcoming.
Great space if you are travelling with kids, gives you freedom to be able to relax with it out having the kids confined to a hotel room. Location is great as you are a short walk to some of the best restaurants Kinsale has to offer.
The owner Michael was great to deal with and very helpful. My family and I will definitely be returning
Lovely welcome from all staff. Room was spotless and comfortable. Best breakfast experience. The pancakes and fried breakfast were amazing! Only stayed one night but would stay longer in the future if visiting Cork again. Two parents and two children in a family room worked well. My 7 year old said he liked our “hotel house” the best.
The breakfast was top class and served. Our room was v spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything was explained covid wise when we checked in and we felt v safe there. It was v well done. If we needed anything extra, which we didn't, we were told not to hesitate to ask. As its a small hotel it was v personable which was lovely.
Great location! Just a short walk downhill to the center of Kinsale with all their amazing food, trad music, shopping and fun. Our host and hostess were so friendly and gave us recommendations for all the best restaurants and sights. Their home was very comfortable and impeccably clean.
The hotel is in a tranquil and peaceful location with amazing views, the staff were friendly and courteous and the breakfast was excellent, there is a lovely pool and leisure centre all areas clean and warm. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the Kinsale Hotel & Spa.
A nice quiet , clean , friendly boutique hotel in the heart of Kinsale ! The room was comfortable and well appointed , with tea and coffee in a common room just down the hall . Very helpful and approachable owner !
The cottage was conveniently located just a short walk from town. It was beautifully decorated and the space was very comfortable. This spot was perfect for our stay in Kinsale. Wish we could have stayed longer!
In the end we stayed at the Blue Haven Hotel (a sister-hotel) due to maintenance at the Old Bank Town House where the hotel staff was very friendly and nice. They made sure we had a great time there as well.
Very nice surroundings, a modern and well maintained hotel. The room and beds were comfortable , the breakfast was good. There is a nice indoor pool with a jacuzzi. Overall a very nice place. Plenty parking
The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and bright. I liked the character of this older hotel, and the fact that it still had all the modern amenities.
A lovely room with an amazing view of the harbour. Spacious bathroom with separate shower. Excellent location and very friendly staff. I will definitely recommend the Trident hotel
