Poised in the center of this medieval fishing port overlooking the marina and the colorful streets. Perryville House combines the grandeur of the past with the luxuries and convenience of today. Breakfast terrific, great choice. Very convenient location near lots of restaurants in town, & museum, shops etc. Could have done with better weather, but that’s not the fault of Perryville!

I recommend this place for full relaxing not young people that likes parting a lot. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only incident was the day we arrived there was a wedding and we were not expecting a busy night. Hotel never said there was a wedding that particular weekend. Overall we did enjoy food and the scenery.
We stayed 3 nights. We visited many local beaches. We dined like royalty in Kinsale each evening. There are so many really good food and drink options. Information on the options was very well signposted for visitors.
I've stayed a few times and the biggest let down is the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Staff seem all over the place and almost ignore you. Bar food ares bit no one seems to own it, no direction as to where or who you order from. Staff seemed only to be for restaurant and we were definitely not on our own of that opinion. No check in to see if you like the food and thus time seemed very slow although not busy 🤔
Kinsale is a lovely fishing town which has a wide range of hotels and restaurants. It has convenient access to local beaches plus there is great evening entertainment and shopping facilities. It is close to Cork city and the airport.
We didn’t see a whole lot of Kinsale as we had planned on traveling around Co Cork to see different places. So it would be unfair of me to rate Kinsale. It was or at least seemed to be a lovely town. However we did visit the Charles Fort Kinsale which was well worth a visit just before we were leaving Co Cork to travel home.
The food in Kinsale was great, large portions and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the historical aspects. So much to see. The buildings are well kept for some being hundreds of years old. Some are very colorful and adds to the charm of the town
Kinsale
we had a lovely room. Mauve is wonderful. The location is perfect to walk to all the shops and many good restaurants. The breakfast is the best I’ve had so far in Ireland. It’s a full Irish breakfast with great fruits cheeses meats bread marmalade and jam. It was great to have a nice on-site parking lot. It was also great to park because the tiny streets of Kinsale are pretty scary. I would highly recommend and if we ever return We will come back to Blind gate house.
We had a large comfortable room with river views from the balcony. There was a fabulous choice at breakfast from fresh fruits, various cereals and yoghurts followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice. Best white pudding we have tasted. If you like walking there is a scenic walk from the hotel into the town of Kinsale with incredible views of harbour.
Kinsale
The bedroom was bigger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in. There was plenty of space. The shower was powerful and there was a bath in the ensuite also. The staff were pleasant and friendly. There was plenty of juices and food to choose from including pancakes for breakfast.

Staff are nice and helpfully. Know the area around best way for directing you around cork (do ask). Hotel rooms have great views of River Bandon and Kinsale Town. Great to pre-book restaurants. Man Fridays is a must go to place to eat...has indoor and roofed outdoors.

Room was lovely & comfortable. My booking was for a Superior Room with Sea view, which I thought was the same as on the website. However it was a lot smaller (more like a hotel room)..
A lovely room with an amazing view of the harbour. Spacious bathroom with separate shower. Excellent location and very friendly staff. I will definitely recommend the Trident hotel
