Beautiful welcome and Happy Anniversary Torte waiting in our room- so nice! Breakfast-incredible The air conditioning would not work, so we did call down and they said someone would be there in an hour. Two hours later- we went out & stoppped at the desk to tell them the problem- again. They assured us it would be taken care of. We returned 11:45pm- still no air, they were going to change our rooms- but we were exhausted. They adjusted the low temp for our wing- and said that would do the trick. It did not. They comped us the $30 parking fee. Again- beautiful hotel. Excellent food. Wish they'd responded to our problem. LOVED DUBLIN!

FAQs about hotels in Dublin

Great History, Greenery & Pubs

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green spaces of any European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

As one of the youngest European cities, Dublin has vibrant nightlife with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish vacation, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, an independent apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.

We spent two days in Dublin which was just right for us to visit the sights we wanted to see. The Book of Kells Experience is a must for anyone who visits Dublin! And you are sure to find a museum (or two, or three) that piques your interest. Dublin is a very easily walked city, with most of the sights found on the south side of the River Liffey.

Great history, but it's mostly churches.

Great history, but it's mostly churches. The party scene is fun, but after two days singing along to Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver at a lot of the live music bars gets old. I would stay 1-2 maybe 3 days and then head to another place in Ireland to really get your fill.

We did two tours during our stay. One to Wicklow, Glendalough, and Kilkenny, and the other to Belfast, Dunluce Castle and The Giant's Causeway. Loved them both, and also went through St. Patrick's Cathedral. We ate two nights in the bar at the Hyatt Centric, another meal at the Merchant's Arch.

It was perfect for our needs. We are visiting different family members around the county of Dublin so it was perfect for accessing all locations by public transportation. The tram "Luas" stop was right outside. It was a fully fitted apartment in the size of a hotel room. It is a "Smart" hotel and room. The floor in the bathroom was heated. The toilet flushes and the water pressure was top notch. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit to Ireland. I would recommend to any visitors, family and strangers!

This was one of the few hotels in Ireland where we had a King size bed - such a treat! And AC that actually made the room cool enough for us to sleep comfortably. We were a little nervous being so close to the city center and seeing ear plugs in the bathroom, but we both slept quite well - no loud noises waking us up and no need for the ear plugs. We had to leave early for the airport in the morning and I went down to get tea and coffee to go. The staff was extremely helpful and didn't charge us for it.

Room was fine, located outside of the crowds of downtown Dublin. Grab the hop on bus near Merrion square that’s a short walk away or grab a taxi to take you there. Pauli’s is a great ecclectic Italian restaurant that’s much more than pizza nearby as is the cute breakfast spot a few minutes by foot. Visit the Brazen Head, touted as Ireland’s oldest pub. It’s not walkable but it has lots of atmosphere.
