Older man in shirt and tie looked me up and down and asked me was I staying in hotel when asked for directions to breakfast room, I was dressed appropriately and felt he was very snoby and unpleasant.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was amazing. I checked in late in the evening as the dining room closed. The man who checked me in had the kitchen make a quick take away dinner that he brought up to my room so I didn’t have to go back out in the cold. Also: the water pressure in the shower is amazing

Fantastic host and the property was spotlessly clean. All necessary amenities and stylish decor. Not far from Cork City if you want to explore the city or a few mins from Charleville town for all you need but in a peaceful location for a great night's sleep. Very comfy bed and living room furniture. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.

The host was great. We were also welcomed and visited often by the four-legged host, Derry the Shetland Sheepdog. As we had to leave our own dogs at home while we are visiting Ireland, Derry was a loving reminder of our loving family at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Lovely place and people. Beautiful modern Cabin.

This hotel was a great place to stay. It is an older hotel with some upgrades. The rooms were quiet. The staff were wonderful. We had been put in a smaller double room the first night. I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning. They apologozed and moved us to a larger room with a street view as I had originally requested. They stated that on the first noght the hotel was very busy and that is why we unfortuately gave us a smaller room . The facilities were great and centrally located as the only hotel in town.
