Beautiful location, within walking distance of castle. Was very pleasantly surprised with beautiful breakfast served to room. Smoked salmon and freshly cooked croissants and scones, Soda bread etc. cereals and yogurts and lots of coffee for machine in room.
Sheelagh was very helpful and a really gracious host. Garden room, lovely space and very private.
Thank you.

We spent the night there, as we were planning to partake in the medieval feast event. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I lost my booking there so we were invited to have our feast in Kippogue Castle, a mere 20 minute ride away, which proved to be perfect.
so we actually did not spend time there, yet rather in Kippogue Castle. Always a good idea for a visit.

Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer.
Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer. Visiting the castle and folk park takes at least half a day and is well worth it. We also went to the medevial banquet in the castle - this is also worth the money, we enjoyed it a lot. Apart from the castle there are also several pubs in Bunratty, of which The Creamery and Durty Nellie's are my favourite. And if you'd like to shop for souvenirs, Blarney Woollen Mills Bunratty is a perfect place.

We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet.
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet. This is well worth a visit. The food was great! I really enjoyed the Mead welcome drinks too! The staff who were serving our food were also the entertainment. The singing was absolutely fantastic! I sing in a Welsh choir, I was seriously impressed! They instrumentalists were also exceptional. The host was also very funny, so it was a great night!
The castle is a fantastic attraction to visit and spend time with family and learn all about the medieval past.
After the banquet we went into the village and visited the local pubs. What an exceptional warm welcome we received. Both pubs had musicians playing and singing! What a place to visit for a bit of authentic Irish entertainment.

Bunratty provided a close location to Shannon Airport necessary after an overnight flight. We dined at JP Clarks which is lovely and delicious. Dirty Nelly's was adorable, but we couldn't get service. Bunratty Folk Park is well worth a visit. The breakfast served at Bunratty Mews B & B was plentiful and delicious which we could enjoy and be on our way.

Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms.
Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms. If you have trouble walking on narrow steep surfaces you would not have access to most of the castle, however the rest of the park is very interesting and accessible.
Sinead and Sean have lovely home which is beautifully maintained. that room was pretty and very comfortable with plenty of space. the bathroom was spotless and gleaming. There were a variety of different breakfast options and the food was just delicious. We enjoyed the short walk to the castle, the folk park and the village. Beat of all were the lovely hosts and Sinead made us feel so welcomed. I cannot recommend this stay enough and certainly hope to return in the future to explore the area more.
The location is good. The house is sitting on a quiet street, just 3 mins off from the highway, with the Bunratty Castle and many good restaurants near by, and is only 20 mins by car to Limerick. The apartment is very nice with many decors and a living room, a small kitchen, very comfy bed and a large size bathroom. The host, Catherine, made us feel right at home, and gave us of plenty breakfast food for our two days! It was a relaxing 2 days, and we really enjoyed our stay!
Tudor Lodge is a comfortable, unpretentious facility, with a spacious lawn and a lovely view out over the countryside. The room was a decent size. The kitchen area is well equipped. Breakfast was continental style: croissants, soda bread, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc., often a better choice for travellers than the full Irish fry-up. We were in Bunratty just for a night, meeting overseas visitors for the Medieval Banquet at Bunratty, and for this it was perfect.
The location was perfect for shopping and to Bunratty Castle. The house and surrounding are are beautiful. breakfast wasn’t included so we were surprised and very happy when Sheelagh and Vinnie brought us fruit, bakery items, salmon and milk. Orange juice, jellies and yogurt were already in the fridge.
Bunratty is an adorable town. The castle banquet was so much fun. The hotel is only ten minutes from the castle entrance (closer if you just want to walk by it). The accommodations are clean, large, and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. The owner is also so kind and welcoming.
Fantastic location right beside the castle and lots of places for drinks and food. The staff were lovely and super helpful. The facilities in the spa were great too. The overnight oats and smoothies at breakfast were delicious. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
This was a last minute booking due to a change in travel plans, and Mel couldn't have been more accommodating. Their home/rooms were simple & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home bake scones! Walking distance to Bunratty Castle.
The house was located less than five minutes from Bunratty castle. It’s a beautiful house and the guest had use of an upstairs living room area. Rooms were very nice and Margaret as a wonderful hostess. The breakfast was awesome. Very good!
Location was private and in the country but less than10 minutes from a selection of restaurants and bars in bunratty and of course the castle.
Breakfast was excellent. Friendly host and beautifully decorated suite for excellent value.
Everything. Family run hotel. Top class. Food is some of the best we've had on our staycation. They say Kerry is has the best hospitality. I beg to differ. Bunratty Manor was great. We will be back again that's for sure.
Deidra, our host, was lovely and welcoming. The family room was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 children). There were toys for the kids to play with and a donkey to pet. Location was perfect for visiting Bunratty castle.
Lovely 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house with its own outside area. Beds are super comfortable with beautiful bed linen.
Location is great. Short walk to Bunratty castle, folk park, restaurants and bars. Most have live music.
The location is good for travelling around the area on day trips. It's within walking distance to Bunratty castle and pubs and restaurants. Joe is very friendly and helpful.
Location was brilliant walking distance to shops, restaurants and Bunratty Castle. Also motorway just around the corner to travel to Limerick 10m drive and Ennis 15min
