They allowed us to check into our room early and we had a wonderful breakfast after a long night of flying. Super service-- we were treated as if we have visited 20 times before, yet it was our very first.

I loved the location and the attentiveness of our hosts.
The continental breakfast was such a great addition. The perfect place to stay our last night in Ireland.

We spent the night there, as we were planning to partake in the medieval feast event. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I lost my booking there so we were invited to have our feast in Kippogue Castle, a mere 20 minute ride away, which proved to be perfect.
so we actually did not spend time there, yet rather in Kippogue Castle. Always a good idea for a visit.

Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer.
Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer. Visiting the castle and folk park takes at least half a day and is well worth it. We also went to the medevial banquet in the castle - this is also worth the money, we enjoyed it a lot. Apart from the castle there are also several pubs in Bunratty, of which The Creamery and Durty Nellie's are my favourite. And if you'd like to shop for souvenirs, Blarney Woollen Mills Bunratty is a perfect place.

We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet.
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet. This is well worth a visit. The food was great! I really enjoyed the Mead welcome drinks too! The staff who were serving our food were also the entertainment. The singing was absolutely fantastic! I sing in a Welsh choir, I was seriously impressed! They instrumentalists were also exceptional. The host was also very funny, so it was a great night!
The castle is a fantastic attraction to visit and spend time with family and learn all about the medieval past.
After the banquet we went into the village and visited the local pubs. What an exceptional warm welcome we received. Both pubs had musicians playing and singing! What a place to visit for a bit of authentic Irish entertainment.

Bunratty provided a close location to Shannon Airport necessary after an overnight flight. We dined at JP Clarks which is lovely and delicious. Dirty Nelly's was adorable, but we couldn't get service. Bunratty Folk Park is well worth a visit. The breakfast served at Bunratty Mews B & B was plentiful and delicious which we could enjoy and be on our way.

Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms.
Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms. If you have trouble walking on narrow steep surfaces you would not have access to most of the castle, however the rest of the park is very interesting and accessible.
My wife and I were on a 2 week vacation all across Ireland, we stayed in a couple of different hotels and an Air bnb, the bunratty meadows was by far the most comfortable, cozy farmland feeling ever. The hosts were awsome that provided a beautiful breakfast in the mornings. Having coffee in the morning watching the sun rise in the pasture with the cows grazing was very relaxing. When we come back for our next visit to Ireland we will Deffinetly be staying at this location again. It was sadly missed
It was the perfect place for the night as we were leaving from Shannon the next day to come home. We also booked our dinner at the medievel castle in Bunratty that evening and it was real close. Both Diedre and her husband were very accommodating. It was quiet and as we were wrapping up our stay in Ireland, we were pretty tired. We had no idea they had a full house of quests (with kids) until breakfast the next morning.
Great place to stay. Dolores is an excellent host and knew all her guests by name. House full of character and spacious rooms all with a theme. Cosy sitting room and small sheltered gazebo in the large front garden for enjoying some peace and quiet. Breakfast was fabulous. Brilliant location just up the road from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park which is also brilliant. Durty Nellys worth a visit.
Super-friendly host and lovely spacious, clean room. The bed was very comfortable and despite being near a road, there was no traffic noise at night. Had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was lovely and location good for visiting Bunratty castle and folklore centre, which are just a short walk away - as were a couple of lovely pubs and restaurants.
We liked being welcomed at the door by Hhane, he was friendly, and had recommendations for dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculate. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options, and Sineád was very kind, and helpful too. A wonderful stay in Bunratty, and I hope to be back soon.
The rooms we had were spacious and had little touches of home like a kettle and tea and coffee. The breakfast was superb and bountiful. Shane and Sinead our hosts are the most generous and friendly people you'll ever meet. It was also a short walk to the center of Bunratty, lots of great food choices there too.
Great location, just a short walk to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, as well as pubs and restaurants. Joe was a great host and a pleasure to talk with! He has a wealth of knowledge on the area, and gave us some suggestions of things to check out. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend!
Lovely kitchenette stocked with everything we needed for breakfast and tea. Quiet, clean, spacious. Very close to Bunratty Castle, which was a relaxing a lovely day to end our trip, followed by dinner at Durty Nellys. The owners were welcoming and gracious.
Beautifully decorated comfortable property & immaculately clean. Location was perfect for us. Walking distance to Bunratty Castle, Blarney Woolen Mills and Durty Nellys. It was a great base to explore further afield in Clare & handy to Limerick too.
This was a last minute booking due to a change in travel plans, and Mel couldn't have been more accommodating. Their home/rooms were simple & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home bake scones! Walking distance to Bunratty Castle.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The parking was perfect and the Hotel was a short walk from Bunratty castle and complex of souvenir shopping, restaurants and pubs including Durty Nellie's pub famous pub.
Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions in the area. Full Irish breakfast gave us lots of energy to explore the area for the day. Location was a nice walk to the Bunratty castle. Highly recommend Bunratty Manor
Gorgeous property in Bunratty. Great views and awesome treats in the room. The lodge is up a hill, but is doable (about 6-7 mins from JP Clarkes) and walkable to the castle. Definitely exceeded expectations. Felt very posh.
Lovely 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house with its own outside area. Beds are super comfortable with beautiful bed linen.
Location is great. Short walk to Bunratty castle, folk park, restaurants and bars. Most have live music.
The house and grounds are exceptional. Just 3/4 mile from bunratty castle and folk park, we were able to tour everything, have dinner at Durty Nelly’s, and even attend the medieval banquet without using our car.
Breakfast was superb! Lorraine was a wonderful host. The house is enormous and furnished so that one feels like royalty. The Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle is a must!! Great fun.
The owners sang as they worked. The amazing scrambled eggs fried in Irish butter!!!!! Breakfast was outstanding. Very close to the Bunratty Castle History Park.
