Mumbai is a big city. I attended a film festival in the area, and it was a nice walk to the cinema. Plenty to do and see, food (Parsi, Goan, street snacks) to explore. I took a midnight bicycle ride, started at 11 pm ended 3 am. Great view of south Mumbai.

After arriving at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus we had a bad experience. A grey-bearded man wearing a turban - I assumed he was someone’s grandfather meeting a family member off the train - advised us not to go with the porter who had offered to help us with our cases. The man in the turban said he’d help us get to our hotel and called over 2 younger men who escorted us to a waiting taxi. When my husband asked what the fare to the hotel would be one of the men said all taxis in Mumbai are metered. When we reached the hotel the taxi driver drove into a side street and demanded Rs5,000. We asked to see the meter which showed Rs3000. We knew from our research that the fare ought to be around Rs600 for the distance we’d travelled.
We argued and the tone which up to then had been friendly turned menacing. We were told to pay what the meter said. Reluctantly my husband counted out out 6 x Rs500 notes and handed them to the driver. Next thing the driver told my husband he’d paid the wrong banknotes and showed us 4 x Rs20 notes in his hand. Now my husband had only had 10 x Rs500 in his wallet, so we knew the driver was lying. Anyway, to cut this long story short, we grabbed our bags and just moved off quickly to the hotel entrance.
I have taken the trouble to write of our experience because I believe other travellers arriving at LTT need be warned to avoid these shady characters.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: this property HACKED my account and wrote (on my behalf) a positive 9 star review for themselves, and a 3 star review to a competitor hotel that I loved. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS HERE. To be clear, I didn't like anything about this property. The floor was full of dust bunnies, the sheets were stained and ripped, everything smelled terrible, and the entrance is a literal tent with carpets ripped every other inch. I've never experienced anything like this and am extremely disappointed.
It was our second stay in Mumbai first time we stayed in the fort but linkway hotel was cheaper and also room in better condition, even though everything in Mumbai is more expensive than rest of India.
Staff was very nice. Room was small but clean and even had day light. Shower worked very well.
Location was very good. Very close to great restaurants, bars, shops... All just in front. Also very close to airport and Dharavi slum in case you plan a tour.
We would choose again this hotel.
Very nice staff who does everything possible to help you enjoy your stay in Mumbai. Very good price. Location near airport T2. Recommended for lay over or even for leaving your luggage for a day and taking a shower in the evening. The hotel is also very close to a metro station from where you can easily reach the south of Mumbai by metro + local train (a new metro line should be built that will connect the metro station directly to south Mumbai, making it even easier).
The location is quite, for someone with sleeping problem, if the hotel at the crowded place, it will be a problem for me. But i can sleep well during my stay in Arnna Hotel. Its not far from train station and also near airport. The staff is really helpfull and nice. The staff who welcoming us (Rahit) when we arrive almost midnight is really helpfull. Another one is Shariq who also give us information about place to visit. Its makes our stay in Mumbai is fun.
One of my favourite 5 star property.
The staff from the entrance of the hotel are very welcoming.
The check in process was very smooth. Ms Kajal assisted me till the room and explained me all the details. I was surprised to see that the room was decorated as requested and a lovely strawberry cake which was super yummy. The runway view was the best part since I am an aviation fan. Overall experience was really good.
All staff is extremely professional, polite and helpful. I stayed on 19th floor and want to specially thank Housekeeping staff - for little little things they did without my asking but that anticipated my needs.
For a relatively older hotel it is remarkably well maintained compared to most other 5 stars.
Location is unbeatable. Wifi is amazing. Food quality also amazing, best in country.
It was clean enough customer service was very good staff where helpful
If u want 5 star get 5 star but for 3 stars it’s fine
As for the 1s that complain noise and whatever other bullshit.. unless it’s an enclosed hotel on its own land your fucked
I’d stay there again with the noise and bullshit
It is what it is
Absolutely stunning, iconic and historic property
Best customer service I have seen so far in a 5 star hotel
Stunning location looking across the Arabian Sea and the Gateway of India
Beautiful room
Very tasteful and wonderful art all over the hotel
The swimming pool area was superb
Loved the morning Yoga sessions
I must say you can't find a Better hotel than hotel adore palace.
The Rooms was neat and big spacious. Staff was very helpful
All covid norms and sanitization was followed. Food is good.
The hotel is 5 minutes from mumbai airport which is a good thing.
Overall the best hotel so far i have stayed in.
The room was so luxurious, I was so impressed. I was amazed by the spread of food at breakfast. I've worked in 5 star hotels in the US and they did not do anything that grand. And the airport was in a great location being so close was so helpful for traveling.
Forgot about 5 star hotel this hotel is great value for money with all amenities really comfortable stay with super fast service by staff also manager is handsome and smily face always to welcome you love to come again this a mini 5 star hotel in mumbai
The rooms are well appointed , clean and appropriate for the price you pay. Basic but well done. The service however, is top class. There are many 5 star hotels in the city that are nowhere near as responsive, courteous and accommodating.
It's no where near a five star hotel! Had shocking experiences every single day during my stay, one day toilet flush didn't work other day lots of mosquito gave horrible bites and had to run to see doctor and list goes on and on!!!
The hotel is in the close proximity to the airport and fairly central to Mumbai city. The staff is genuinely courteous & pro-active. The rooms & bathrooms are neat & clean. The minibar is adequately stuffed; too.
Good part - staff behaviour..courteous and helpful and the location near airport.
The present rates of food served is ok...with an average taste and variety...considering the location in central mumbai.
The Amber is undoubtedly the best in hospitality, Absolutely I will give 5 star to this place, Nice to place to visit with your family. Due to this you will also able to know what is Mumbai darshan.
